The opening of the refurbished and new police station went really well over the weekend. Geoff tells me he's been recieving a lot of great feedback about it all. He also emphasises the message of amping up security for retilers and local business owners as we get closer to Christmas time.

Today is Ben Stiller's 52 birthday, 30/11/1965. With all the films that Ben has done John said he couldn't let this one slide on by, probably one of the funniest films of all time, we're talking about 'Something About Mary'.

Mt Agung still causing disruption of a lot of Aussie travellers, so naturally seeing as it's a Wednesday morn, I got Aunty Fils’ 2 cents on it.

There are still two weekends left to come and bring the kids along to Alice in Wonderland at the Cummins theatre. Kevin Tengvall who is directing the show has a bit of a chat with me this morning about pantomimes and why this is a great one to come along and see :)

York shire President David Wallace was able to give me a quick couple of mintues for an Around The Towns chat before getting back in the truck to cart wheat this morning. He spoke about a community harvest effort recently which went really well and a big thank you to everyone involved. Also, Xmas party is on the way, there is a festival on to celebrate this very weekend :D

A beautiful night at Kings Park watching the Aussie legend Paul Kelly, sounds like one to remember and that's defintiely the case for a friend of mine Maddie who was able to head along over the weekend,

Whilst Mum is staying with me for a couple of days, I thought I'd rope her on board this morning to have a bit of a chat about the time of year that's only a few sleeps away really...Christmas. A stress or a joy? 

Quinny mananged to fit me in to his busy schedule this morning, he's work horse at the moment trying to get all those hams ready for everyone in town come Christmas. He has a chat with me this morning about the aweseom Shop Local Buy Local campaign and what's in it for customers, also we have a chat about the upcomign carols in the park and we also make mention of a young local lad that's made it to the big stage in the AFL.
