Earlier this year I had the privilege of sitting down with Dr Trevor Adams to discuss with him what life is like after trauma. After a period of procrastination, doubt, and fear of whether I should post this episode or not, I sat down this morning and listened to it for the first time since the recording. I realised that the wisdom Dr Trevor shared with me on that day about how to live and manage my life after trauma still applies today. We talked about control and change, how to let go and how to accept change. This episode is personal to me as Dr Trevor did not only share his knowledge, but he also allowed me to dive deeper into my own trauma and learn how to navigate it. We open up about how a child can process trauma and the possible affects in their later life. Amongst this, we also discussed how the local authorities can help young people effectively deal with their trauma and mental health. I hope you enjoy this episode just as much as I did. And a huge thank you to Dr Trevor for joining me and being so patient with the release.
