Wisdom is a popular word in the Scriptures. We are told to use wisdom, to heed wisdom, to be filled with wisdom, and even to passionately seek it out. However, we must determine which wisdom we are following: The wisdom of God or the wisdom of Man. There is a spiritual, godly wisdom, and there is an earthly, sensual wisdom. We must distinguish between the two. One will keep us on Gods path, the other will lead us away from it.

In part 2 of GPS, I’m talking about what it means to follow “the impulses of the Holy Spirit”. God has a path for our lives, and it is a good one. But in order to stay on the path, we must resist impulses that take us off of it, and obey the gentle leadings of God on the inside.

A GPS is designed to keep us on the right path. God has a path for each one of our lives, and He wants to show us not only how to find it, but how to remain on it. Join me for part 1 of 3, in a series called GPS: God’s Path Shown, as we dive into this topic.

Do you know your enemy? There is a Blessing that comes on us as the Body of Christ when we are in unity with eachother. But so often, we fight eachother instead of fighting the real enemy. We war against flesh and blood even though Ephesians tells us that our warfare is spiritual, not earthly. Division hinders the flow of Gods power, but unity opens wide the heavenly gates for the King and His glory to come in and Bless His people.

Many people are content to simply avoid the things that they are afraid of, being free from the symptoms of it, rather then to face the thing that causes their heart to beat faster, and their palms to sweat. But God is not content with His children living with unchecked and unchallenged fear. He wants to empower us to face down what has so long kept us bound with intimidation. If you will face what you fear, it will lose its power and disappear.

God loves you. In fact, God loves you as much as if you were His only child. My good friend, Ashley Emerick joins me today to talk about His incredible testimony and how Gods love rescued him from a life of addiction and darkness. As Corie Ten Boom said, “There is no pit so deep that He is not deeper still.”

The love of God has been shed abroad in the heart of every Child of God. However, like lava in a dormant volcano, it must be stirred up and drawn out. When it is, it will cover and cure every soul sickness.

Halloween: an innocent holiday? Or a celebration of fear and death? I’m not trying to be a buzz kill. In fact, I’m not trying to “kill” anything. But that’s the point. Death has no place in the life of a believer who has been made alive through Christ, for it has been swallowed up in victory.

A life on fire for God is the result of being in love with Jesus more than anything else. When we spend time with Him, His Fire will follow us. Satan is afraid of Christians who are on fire.
