Verse of the Day

It is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast. (NIV)

I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — this is your spiritual act of worship. (NIV)

The word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (NIV)

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God  may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (NIV)

Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the LORD, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (NIV)

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. (NIV)

A man finds joy in giving an apt reply — and how good is a timely word! (NIV)

Carry each other's burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. (NIV)

I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart. (NIV)
