Is what is holding us back from our biggest impact our own earthly perspective? Do We Need Our Perspective Transformed? Are we convinced we are right and close-minded to God doing more? This week, let's remember that God can do more than we ask, think, or imagine. He tells us who we are-- children of God. And He gets the final word.

Trials can build our faith, and can also build bridges with other people. We aren’t meant to do life alone! So when temptation arises, share with a trusted believer who can help you in a healthy way. Let’s remain awake in Jesus’ presence and strength. This week, Pastor Phil walks us through a message on temptation and how we can look to God through it. After all, He is the one that always provides a way out of temptation.

This week Pastor Phil walked us through a look at the life of Peter through the lens of trials. We can all wrestle with fear when facing difficulty, but we saw that God even reveals himself to us in the hard times and can even use them to transform us. So be encouraged, brother or sister! 

Transformation takes place in relationship with the Lord. Let’s focus on that relationship this week. When Peter thought about the ways he had sinned in his life, He thought Jesus could never use him… but Jesus told him not to be afraid! Jesus doesn’t speak to who we used to be. He speaks to who He calls us to be. Who else is so thankful for that?!

This week, we thought through what a lukewarm and indifferent faith looks like, compared to an all-in faith like Esther & Mordecai had in the Book of Esther. Let’s be hungry for more of Him and less of ourselves, more of Him and His awesome plans and less of the ones we have for our own lives. Let's pursue a relationship with Him with great faith, and let's compel the world around us to follow Jesus passionately.

Today we had a special message from Pastor Greg Haswell that reminded us that God wants us to operate in freedom. He doesn’t want you to be captive to the things of this world or the traumatic experiences you’ve had. We can find healing from the Lord when we forgive, repent, replace lies with truth, and invite Jesus into our entire life.

Thankful for today’s word on the importance of the Lord increasing and our selves decreasing in our lives. Such a good reminder that pride may feel powerful to us as humans, but it's truly poisonous. Pride leads to a cycle of constantly craving fulfillment from the things of the world, not of God. This week Pastor Phil shows us what to look out for in our hearts to guard against pride. Lord, be glorified. Less of our earthly desires and more of things that will glorify You.

There is a plan after the pain & there is more left in your story. God wants to use you to love and reach people around you. Lord help us to not get comfortable, but to operate in our calling. We were made for such a time as this. (Esther 4:14)
