On this episode, it's another trip down to The Old Icebox for another retro review. This time around, we travel back 35 years to take a look at the very first Summerslam by WWE on August 29, 1988. Taking place at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York, the first "Biggest Party of the Summer" was another test in Vince McMahon's global expansion of the WWF in the 1980s, as it featured a "Mega Powered" tag team main event, two heated tag team matchups, and more.

On this episode, Dylan reviews All Elite Wrestling's All In 2023 PPV event. This particular event was a first of many for AEW, as it was their first event in the United Kingdom and their first-ever football stadium show in their history. Taking place inside Wembley Stadium on August 27, 2023, AEW had high expectations from its fans, and detractors, going in, with a world title match headlined by two rivals turned unlikely friends in Adam Cole and MJF.

On this episode, Dylan returns to The Old Icebox for another retro review, this time for the 10th Anniversary of WWE Summerslam 2013. Taking place on August 18, 2013, this show was headlined by a WWE Championship match between John Cena and Daniel Bryan that would significantly set up the next several months for the company. Other matches highlighted in this review are the highly-hyped "The Best vs The Best" No Disqualification match between CM Punk and Brock Lesnar, the debut of Bray Wyatt in a Ring of Fire match vs Kane, and more!

On this episode, Dylan reviews both the 2023 WWE Summerslam PLE and the aftermath of it from the August 7, 2023 episode of WWE RAW in this 2-for-1 review. The 36th annual event hailed from the Motor City of Detroit, Michigan in Ford Field, with a number of grudge matches set to finish off a number of feuds on that Saturday night. One of those grudge matches was the headliner nearly three years in the making: the Undisputed WWE Champion Roman Reigns defending both his title and his status as the Tribal Chief against his former ally Jey Uso in a battle dubbed "Tribal Combat." With all the twists and turns that WWE's biggest story has taken so far, would this latest addition be able to live up to fans' expectations?
