I won’t try to answer how many sports are involved but will mention one this is sweeping the land, Pickleball, is again being expanded. BTW there is a difference between an Emergency room and an Urgent care center, do you know the difference?     Dr. Kenneth Hartman, President and Founder of,  Our Community Salutes, USA has something exciting to tell us about a send-off for our local high school graduates.

     I remember when high school was over and, in my instance, a disastrous year at college ended there was no fanfare when I got on the bus to head for basic training. Looking back, it was lonely and a bit scary. Today there is a program that sends our high school grads off with flags and fanfare. This program started by Dr. Kenneth Hartman is sweeping the nation and may be in your town if it is be a part of it and if it is not then to start one. Listen in to hear this good news program.

    Brad Hibbard Program Manager for America’s VetDogs presents and interesting story of not only assisting Veterans with Service Dogs but also providing Combat Stress Control Dogs to active duty units, many of whom have been raised by prison inmates, who have benefited from the puppy-raising process. Listen in to hear about the variety of Service Dogs and how the dog and the vet are paired up. If you think you need a dog, he explains the process and what happens once you are accepted into the program. Veterans are not charged for the services they provide and the organization is a 501 c3 not-for-profit and is supported by donors who care about veterans. Tune in to hear about the 5 different categories of dogs they raise and what they are trained to do. You will be amazed.

    Ryan Gallucci, VFW Dir of National Veterans Services shares his knowledge of the new PACT act. He speaks of a special open season to get into the VA and discusses some of the Presumptive illnesses contained in the act. During his comments, he shared a special website set up by VFW to get help and answer questions. Most importantly he stresses the point that one does not have to be a VFW member to get help from VFW. Finally, we talked about the sharks in the water (Lawyers) trying to separate veterans from their benefits. You do not have to pay to get a claim submitted and the process is much more streamlined than in the past. You will enjoy Ryan and learn a lot.
