Join us every week as we team up with leading mortgage and real estate experts who've gone through the vetted VA training and vetting process. We dive into everything you need to know from your initial contemplation of buying a home.
This episode is all about VA loans and credit, but also debt to income ratio or DTI. Credit is one of those things we run into so often in VA lending
It takes time to ensure that your credit scores are as healthy as it can be. What we found with veterans is there are a lot of odd circumstances box moves, deployments, unusual health or financial circumstances that put veterans in a difficult place of managing their credit. Now, because the VA is aware of this, the nice thing is the VA home loan is more flexible with credit than any mortgage on the face of the earth.
