What's Up, Playa?

It's E3 season! Or at least, it almost is. So, it's time for Emmett Watkins Jr, Allan Muir AND special guest Joseph Hooper to react and speculate some of the announcements we've already gotten ahead of the official show. After geeking about the latest Horizon: Forbidden West gameplay, Far Cry 6 details, and Dying Light 2 reveals, we all then move on to speculate on the upcoming Koch Media, Battlefield, Nintendo, and Microsoft/Bethesda Events. Will we see Starfield? Will Battlefield 6 come to Game Pass? Will Saints Row V finally be revealed?

Well, before we get those answers, and after our guest has to step out, we then talked about the games we've been playing. Al talks about his time with MLB The Show 21 and Mass Effect Legendary Editon while Emmett talks about his time with Biomutant and Knockout City.

The gang is back together and back on their brand of BS. They speak of the Week in News, Allan talks about WWE 2k22, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/ Shining Pearl, Legends Arceus, and a tangent with Resident Evil. Enjoy the show!

What's Up, Playa?

We're baaaaack! This week, Emmett Watkins Jr and Allan Muir use Xbox's 20th anniversary to reminisce on their fondest memories of the Xbox consoles and brand. Some of us go all the way back to the OG console, while some of us start a lot more recently, but no matter when it is, we had to show some love to the big green machine.

But first off, in the Watcha Playin' segment, Al talks about his time with Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, Emmett talks about his time with Hollow Knight, and both of them talk about their time with Resident Evil: Village.

This isn’t the episode we thought we would have during the hiatus, much less one we wanted to do. However, life isn’t always kind, and on May 2nd the comic industry lost another great. John Paul Leon, illustrator for books like Static, The Winter Men, Earth-X, and more; lost his life to cancer at the age of 49.

Allan and I wanted to take an episode talking about the man, and here it is. Our condolences to the family and his friends. Rest in Peace John Paul. You will be missed.

What's Up, Playa?

Emmett Watkins Jr and Allan Muir are back once again with another meaty episode! This time, in the main topic, we discuss some of our E3 Predictions, and if we think they'll be revealed during E3's official show, Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest, or independently from either event. Will we finally see Metroid Prime 4? Will we finally see Saints Row 4? We speculate on that and more!

But first, in the Whatcha Playing segment, Al talks about his time with Resident Evil Village, Titanfall 2, Battlefront 2 (Instant Action), and The Simpsons Game while Emmett talks about his time with Days Gone, Apex Legends Arenas, Grimvalor, and Nier Replicant.

We're back with another episode this time, on time! In the main, albeit short, topic, Emmett Watkins Jr and Allan Muir try to predict what games will come to Game Pass by the end of the year. It seems like the surface is consistently getting more big, and recently released, titles, so we swing big for our predictions!

But first, in an extra-long Whatcha Playin segment, Al talks about his time with MLB The Show 21, Halo Wars 2, Doom Eternal, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Star Wars the Old Republic while Emmett talks about his time with Nier Replicant, Prey (2006), and several mobile games including Dead Cells, Holedown, and Shadowgun Legends.

Been a while, huh? Well, Emmett Watkins Jr and Allan Muir are back again with a perfectly timed and not at all out-of-date episode! This time, with the closure of the PS3 and PSP digital stores coming soon, they're talking about games they recommend people pick up before they become unavailable forever.

...wait, the stores are NOT closing? Goddamint, well, just don't mention it in the show, maybe they won't read the description and realize this was recorded a few weeks ago...

But before they embarrass themselves, Emmett talks about his time with Moss, Frontlines: Fuel of War, and State of Decay 2 while Al talks about his time with Star Wars: Tales From The Galaxy’s Edge and Sackboy: A Big Adventure.
