Dan Jurgens shaped Josh's love of comics with his work on Superman and Josh was able to talk to Dan about the 1994 story "Zero Hour: A Crisis in Time!" Aside from the talk of Zero Hour and continuity, Dan also has two books that have recently hit physical and digital shelves in the form of Generations: Shattered and Generations: Forged, and don't forget to check out both Zero Hour and DC Infinite Frontier which Dan also worked on.

To finish up our month on Dwayne McDuffie and Milestone Media, Josh and Allan are joined by Javon McNeil to get his perspective of seeing himself represented in media. We do it all through the works of Dwayne McDuffie and the goal he set out to accomplish with his career.

This Week On The VGU.TV Week In News Podcast: This episode has been claimed by Arcane, Will Graydon Finally Try March to October in MLB ‘21, Could the mythical MGS Remake be happening? And make sure to leave ONLY positive reviews! Welcome to WiN!

Allan and Graydon are joined this week by Gary Gallimore to talk news, MLB The Show, and Rumors!

We’ve discussed Dwayne McDuffie’s life/career prior to Milestone. We discussed Milestone Media itself and Dwayne’s impact there. Now it’s time to get to the truly depressing part…the latter part of Dwayne’s life and his eventual death.

It's a two-man show on this episode of WiN as Raul is on assignment. Unfortunately, the Discord bot used for recording wasn't as efficient, Allan had microphone issues, and Graydon had poor internet issues. All that and more on this week in hell podcast.

Milestone Media revolutionized comics. While today it’s probably most remembered with its popular character Static, it helped promote diversity in an industry in desperate need of it.

Josh and Allan discuss the founding of Milestone Media, the creation of its world, the controversies, the rebirths, and more.

I’m not even sure how to start this post. How do you try to summarize a man’s life who helped changed the comic industry in an effort to spread diversity? A man who put in the effort to give marginalized people someone they could see as a reflection of themselves in a medium that desperately needed those characters.

This is Dwayne McDuffie.

What was originally going to be a mix of various topics for Black History Month ended up turning into the Dwayne McDuffie month. Boiling down the life of this man into one episode is impossible. We did several and still left things out. The impact he left on the world is huge. Hopefully, in these episodes, you’ll come to know why he is one of the greatest creators not only the comic industry has seen, but one of the greatest minds to spread diversity and equality on the planet in the best way he could. Entertainment.

We're back with another episode of The Player's Club Podcast, this time with a new intro and outro song! Be sure to let us know what you think of it, but we also have two new guests on this episode with Joe Wilson and Neil Rivera! They're joining Emmett Watkins Jr to play a little game inspired by the recent stock market news around GameStop. They'll be playing a game where they figure out which gaming franchises have the biggest gap in popularity between their first releases and most recent entry. You might not expect some of the franchises that come up, so prepare to be surprised!

But first, in our Whatcha Playin segment, Joe talks about his time with Persona 4 Golden & Final Fantasy VII Remake, Neil talks about his time with Final Fantasy VII Remake, Fortnite, and The Medium, while Emmett talks about his time with Persona 5 Royal and Alan Wake.
