Mix 105 debuts Jennifer Hudson, Tortured Soul, Chicago, Marta Ren, Boulevards, Sohight & Cheevy, Chuckii Booker and the Salsoul Orchestra. Alongside the first release from jamiroquai's forthcoming new album is a footstomper from Al Jarreau, who sadly passed away on the day this mix was released. RIP Al Jarreau.

This mix celebrates a number of the many musicians and singers we lost in 2016. Namely: Maurice White, Prince, Alphonse Mouzon, Colonel Abrams, Denise Matthews (Vanity), David Bowie, Glenn Frey (Eagles co-founder), Sharon jones and most recently George Michael. This mix was originally released in 2014, but is now being re-released in honour of Rod Temperton's passing. This mix features an hour's worth of my favourite Temperton compositions and hopefully serves as a guided tour through his genius for songwriting and composition. RIP Rod Temperton.
