MEET MICHAEL MCFADDEN----> Life was not easy in our nation's capitol and becoming a statistic was the best way of life for me in Southeast DC. The fast life and easy money was my ticket...school was not an option for me during my 11th grade year, so I called it quits (1 of the worst and best decisions of my life).

The summer trip to Atlanta, GA in 1987 changed my life! That's when I realized how important LIFE really was and that it was OK to be a teenager. Being in Atlanta offered that change for me... I re-enrolled in school, graduated in 1989 (little late but I made it) and immediately joined the U.S Army.

I've worked for serveral Fortune 500 companies and excelled to upper management positions in record time and I owe that to EVERYTHING I learned in the streets of DC... "HUSTLE".

Afterall most individuals would say that their place of worship is one of the places where they would feel the safest at. Its True that over the past several years their has been an increase in which several churches have had violence occur right in their place of worship, where members were assassinated, and pastors were even targets for the shootings. So the Question Stands at...Should Guns Be Allowed in the Worship of Worship. Would you feel safe that their were clergy and people in the congregation who carried hand guns?? Mildred Muhammad is a domestic violence survivor with a story to tell the world.  It is not just "a" story – it is "one of the many" stories built on the experiences of domestic violence and the depths of its terror. After her children were kidnapped and her inability to go on living without them, she began the silent struggle of looking for them, knowing that if she exposed herself, John Allen Muhammad would locate her and kill her.  She was triumphant in her struggle to get through those 18 months of not knowing where her children were and re-gained full custody of them.  She fled from her estranged husband and moved to Maryland with the children.  She was frightened during the horrific sniper shootings, sat through court proceedings during the trial, and last but not least, began re-gaining her strength to start a 501©3 non-profit organization, After The Trauma, to assist survivors of domestic violence.  

She’s a Domestic Violence Consultant for the U.S. Dept of State as well as a "National/International Spokesperson" for domestic violence and has been honored as being the keynote speaker, telling her story, for many conferences regarding domestic abuse/violence, children and trauma and PTSD. She speaks to victims/survivors of domestic violence, trainer/educator for law enforcements, advocates, judges, therapist, counselors, social workers, military facilities, medical professionals and at various universities.  She is an advocate, trainer and accompanies victims & survivors to court.  She is a consultant with the Office for Victims of Crime and is a board member of different domestic violence organizations.  

Her book, ‘Scared Silent’, was released October 2009 by Simon and Schuster.  The reviews have been very favorable and supportive.

Anetral is also a Children's book author and is currently working on a series of children's book that is soon to be released in 2015. She also plans start a cartoon production in the near future. Anetral will soon be releasing her spoken words album in 2015. Her inspirations are: giving praise to the one and only God the Almighty, spoiling her only child, spending time with her family, and making a difference through her writing and spoken words.  A woman proposing to a man 30 years ago would have been unthinkable, but times have changed and an increasing number of women are asking their loved ones to tie the knot, according to a study.It shows that one in 10 women have popped the question. However, three-quarters of women who've done so wish that their partner had beaten them to it.
