Michael B. Jordan reinvents the bra as his Louis Vuitton harness turns heads on the red carpet. Best Cats in a Motion Picture deservedly goes to Black Panther. (Also, Best Cast.) The Kominsky Method is well worth delving deeply into. Roma garners critical acclaim as a coming-of-age memoir for the great director Alfonso Cuarón. L.A. drivers be steady with the Birdbox challenge. Our opinions differ slightly on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse, but there’s no debate that the animation looks out of this world. And Emily Blunt is quite delightful in her star turn as Mary Poppins.

Episode 41 - Back back backy back. The Summer of Sandlot is slowly subdued to a simmer... ya know... because it’s Fall. Vic goes a-cruisin’ and misses out on Tulúm, in Mexico (frowny face). Chichén Itzá is a must-see as well. What Giorgio Tsoukalos REALLY means is Aliens. Don’t take rocks from ancient ruins. ICYMI: the Philadelphia Eagles are defending Super Bowl Champions. Upcoming Attractions: Saturday, 10/13 - Vic & Marty are at Ultimate Pastime Sports in Ontario, CA. (“CA” is California, not Canada.) Saturday, 10/20 - pretty much the whole Sandlot crew, including Marley Shelton!, are at Dynasty Sports in the Oxford Valley Mall of PA. Then! October 27th & 28th - ComicCon in Alamo City, TX! Vic will never beat up Arnold Schwarzenegger. A Star is Born is excellent, really gives you the feels, and Lady Gaga is phenomenal. A Simple Favor was pretty good, which in itself blew Steve away. Maniac is an entertainingly schizophrenic limited series on Netflix, in the vein of a Terry Gilliam film. Hakuna matata. Vic’s still watching Luke Cage, but give him a break, he’s been traveling like crazy. “Shades” is a stupid name, but Daredevil (the Charlie Cox one) is the man! But he’s missing! Gone! Outta here... just like us.

Two thumbs up for Jet Blue Airlines! Two thumbs down for Norwegian. And the Sandlot Summer sizzles some more: Citizen’s Bank Park in Philly, June 9th!

Dallasonians are cryin’ in their crème brûlée. Justice League is no Avengers, but it’s not as bad as detractors make it out to be. Gary Oldman must’ve thought it was White Boy Day. Social media, social schmedia... it all eventually goes to babies and dogs. And a Travelin’ Man can’t wait to buy some luggage...
