When an astronomically alcoholic private detective—Bo Hogart—accepts cash to track down the world's most wanted woman, the ensuing destruction includes more than just his brain cells. After his flight gets severely canceled to pieces, and arrives, simultaneously, in fifty separate states, Bo concludes that stealing a VW bus to be the safer option. Unfortunately, while driving the bus—covered in murals of Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Janis Joplin, and Jimmy Buffett—he unknowingly eats some suspect candy and soon finds two backpackers in his van, two hit-men on his tail, and a Tasmanian-devil-raptor flying through his molten side window. At the same time, the brilliant blue-eyed woman—a genius who has invented a clean and inexpensive alternative to fossil fuel—finds herself in a situation that no one would want to find themselves. Luckily, she possesses a superior intellect, a loyal best friend, and a strength of character that won't allow her to take crap for free. In a nutshell, this story of a brilliant beauty and an incorrigible alcoholic—both navigating the free-range lunatic asylum commonly known as Earth—is drenched in humor and action, with just a dash of insight.
