Victor and the Giant Fox: Music Review Podcast

Every Time I Die dropped their 9th LP, Radical, so we said, "Hey! Let's review it!'. Non-titular Mike's intestines force him to miss out on this RAD episode, but don't worry, the titulars got you covered.

What kind of metalcore reviewers would we be if we didn’t take a look at one of the most influential bands in metalcore history? Probably a pretty lame one… We’re looking at Zao’s 2021 LP, The Crimson Corridor.

It's episode 19 and we're looking at another band that is brand new to all three of us, Invent Animate, and their 2 most recent releases Greyview(LP 2020) & The Sun Sleeps, As if it Never Was(EP 2021). It's always fun discovering new bands!

For this episode, we are diving down the deep, experimental, Proggy whirlpool that is Colors II by BTBAM! Victor takes the lead as our resident Prog Metal fan, but will survive this endeavor? Probably, but it will still be a fun listen!

We've been talking about this album loooooong before it was released, and now we FINALLY get to talk about it! We're talking about the the latest release from Christian Metalcore Heavies, PHINEHAS!

This is a new band for us here at VatGF and their new album, Cura Nata, was not what we were expecting for a band's sophomore album. We didn't see it coming, but we are more than happy to share our thoughts on it with YOU!

Take a trip with us down metalcore memory lane as we take a bit of a hodgepodge retrospective into the discography and career of Haste the Day! Nerd out with us as we talk about each HTD release and discuss many personal experiences and fond memories involving the once metalcore heavy hitters.

We're taking a listen at the very anticipated and clamored about sophomore release by Killswitch Engage-offshoot, Times of Grace! Songs of Loss & Separation comes just over 10 years after their first LP.

We're back with Episode 13 and we're filling our ear-holes with the buttery, honey-like voice of Howard Jones and Light the Torch's newest LP, You Will Be the Death of Me! This album surprised us for sure. Have a listen!

Episode 12 brings with it our first double feature: Convictions - I Won't Survive & World Divided - Failed to Be! Listen in as we attempt to answer the question "Can you talk too much about albums you are reviewing?"
