Luke 22: 03 to. . Then satan entered Judas Iscariot. So Judas went his way and discussed with chief priests and captains, how he might betray Jesus to them. And they were glad and agreed to give him money.

As we know Judas betrayed Jesus by selling Him for 30 pieces of silver.

We too betray him for what we need most. Some betray Him for money. For some it can be any other thing which is dearer to them.

I would like to share glimpse of a true familiar story I've come across yesterday.

It happened so that a world renowned artist has planned to paint the image of "The Lord's last Supper." .....

Yes in each of us there is Jesus and there is Judas Iscariot. In each of us. The best, the 2nd and the worst version of ourselves. And sometimes the best version is "Judas in us."

But yet, we need to be desirous to have that transformation to be in His image (His qualities) more and more as we press "On."

We too face betrayal by someone who promises us. And then literally stab us leaving us high and dry backing out the promises they make, for some monitory benefits or any other benefits like Judas. Showing the true larger image of Judas Iscariot in ourselves and lesser of Christ. It happens. Because man's heart changes like how a chamelion changes it's colours. Has it happened to you anytime?? Don't worry and be upset! It happens to everyone. Man is man. His love changes when circumstances change. But Jesus love is unchanging unlike the human love.

Yes, in each of us there is Jesus and there is Judas. In each of us.. The best, the 2nd and the worst version of ourselves. And sometimes the best version is Judas in us.

Let's introspect ourselves...

Heb. 10:22. Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith.

We don't pray and read the Bible to get a perfect trouble free life. God's ways are mysterious but there is a divine purpose behind it. Pursuing God is not a cause and effect. We do it because it draws us closer to the relationship with God who is perfect. The pursuit of goldliness will not exempt us from trouble. (2 Timothy 03:12.) But life dedicated to pursue God and drawing closer to Him is always a good idea no matter what happens.

Because in good times or bad times we can find peace n undisturbed heart when we are walking in His divine will and His path.

Topic : Righteous Will Flourish And Prosper But The Evil Doers Shall Perish Like The Grass Which Withers Away.

Ps. 37: 01. Do not fret because of evildoers. Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like grass and wither as the green herb.

God blesses His people who are faithful to Him. He makes us fruitful not only for His Kingdom but prospers us in all fronts.

A Church pastor has invited a visiting speaker to speak the Word for the sunday service. Hungry congregation has been eager to listen to this visiting speaker.

To their disappointment in the one hour of the message, he has used 80% of the one hour with all the sweet and flattering adjectives on the pastor of the church who invited him in order get favour from him. And 15% of the time he has talked beating his own drums and blowing his own trumpet what he did years back.

Had the pastor of the church been someone like Bro. Bakth Singh, he would have immediately stopped the sermon. But, in this case message continued and pastor was happy. There are today 100s of churches who are suffering because of this flattering and sugar coated and hollow speeches. Bro. Bakth Singh hates people who waste time on the pulpit praising Him. No wonder he was able to plant more than ten thousand churches. Amen! And that's the true revival indeed! And we see today, people struggling to build one church sincerely for the glory of God.

I am always fascinated about another great servant of God who lit the personal evangelism to a great amazing heights of success for God's glory. Pastor P.T. Chacko who pioneered the "Pentecostal Mission" never neglected "person to person and door to evangelism." Though he has been a pastor and influential person in the society, he visited a rickshaw puller's house one day suddenly...

Unfortunately, unlike like these great men who of God whole time is spent on buttering people and flattering people to get themselves in good books and to get favours. But spend unfortunately not even little time to share the gospel.

Many in these days are hard skinned to be sensitive to His divine voice. Revival has taken backseat in churches, because mostly it's focused on praising each other and patting each other backs. They make so much of efforts to malign and isolate God's righteous people and build their own kingdoms on the earth, pushing the kingdom of God in ruins. They profess completely what they are not not understanding God watches all of us.

They make every effort to tarnish the name of the righteous. But the righteous are secured safely in the hands of the Lord. The Lord of Joseph, the Lord of Daniel, the Lord Ruth, and the Lord of Esther who were not only righteous but stood the tests of insecurity harm and danger. And the Lord rescued them all and sidelined and overpowered all their adversaries to make them tower above everyone. That's the power of a Righteous God over His righteous people.

Topic for today: Persistent Prayers Claiming Divine Promises Gives Us Restoration, Healing, Deliverence, Peace And Success.

Promise And Prayer go together. There are numerous promises in the Bible on restoration, strength, comfort, hope, Joy over depression, peace over dejection, hope over anxious and dreadful moments, for deliverence and healing. And the list goes on. For everything we need, there are promises in His divine Word. But, yet they are not fulfilled. And we feel void, empty and fearful with scary dreams. But, when God has promised anything to us, working hard on it we can go to him and ask Him to do based on the promises in the divine Word and in His divine will. But then, why ask when He has promised?? Asking shows faith. Asking releases faith and confidence. Asking is the acceptance on our part of what God offers based on His promises.

Moreover Word of God is very clear in Mat. 07: 07 & 8 which says, "Ask and ye shall receive;

For everyone who asks receives. So, ask not, and he shall not receive..."

Topic : Peace With God And Peace Of God Can Enable Us To Encounter Depression Which Has Become A Common Ailment to Many.

Isia 09:06.

For Unto us a child is born, and unto us a Son is given. And His name shall be called .... The Prince of Peace.

One of the names apart from several names attributed to Jesus in this verse is "Prince of Peace."

The entire world is in the quest to find peace and they experiment it in various forms to attain peace and meaning in their lives.

We all know the celebrities give all their entire time and life to attain name, fame, success, wealth and celebrity status. But, we see the top celebrities often times end up like declaring life as meaningless and emptiness -a sort of void in their lives.

Few celebrities have openly confessed that they have been to Psychiatrists for counseling to get that little bit of Peace which eludes them badly. They spend huge money. And several of other top celebrities we understand take the "drug counseling" secretly. And we know, though they reach the zenith of success at various intervals of time, high profile film actors have committed suicide due to emptiness, frustration and depression in life.

Therefore, the real peace cannot be found in wealth, nor in status, nor in this worldly success but only in Christ. Those of us who have Christ as the anchor of our lives, we have peace the world cannot give, because Christ is our "Prince of Peace."

Word of God says in John 14:27.."Peace I give unto you not as the world giveth give I unto you." Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Perfect dedication to Christ brings perfect peace into our hearts. We can find peace in no other way but in Jesus Christ. But, still as God's children, resistance to God's will, partial obedience to the divine God's Word, and trying to wriggle out His safe hands for earthly possessions and positions, rather than Heavenly kingdom and it's values will destroy our lives.

Have Christ in the centre of our lives will give us His peace which you cannot buy even in millions of dollars.

How long, Lord, must I call for help?

Habakkuk 1:2

The prophet Habakkuk was well acquainted with that feeling. In the seventh century B.C, he cried out to the Lord: “How long, Lord, must I call for help, but you do not listen? Or cry out to you, ‘Violence!’ but you do not save?

Why do you make me look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrongdoing?” (Hab. 1:2–3). He prayed for a long time, struggling to reconcile how a just and powerful God could allow wickedness, injustice, and corruption to continue in Judah.

As far as Habakkuk was concerned, God should have already intervened. Why was God doing nothing? We too have often similar questions in our lives. Is it not??

Though Christian life has its shares of trials even in trials, when our faith is in Christ, we can yet have a meaningful & purposeful life. Let us not despair because of evil. The Righteous will have the last word and the corrupt will perish.

Topic : Many Live A Lukewarm Life in Abundance. But Come Closer Than Ever Before The Moment Adversity Strikes.

Dev. : Ps. 119: 67 & 71.

Before I was afflicted, I went astray. But, now I keep your word.

71. It is good for me that I have been afflicted that I may learn your statues.

... I had received a short sermon / message from my friend the other day who is in USA which was shared by an eminent servant of God . He sent it at an unusual time. Then I knew it's the Lord's leading as it's been a great blessing to me. A portion of his text I will share which blessed me and it's indeed true. Then, I shall close with my thoughts. One more reason I share is - there are not 100s but 1000s of families who came close to Christ only when an affliction or a sudden storm of hurricane proportion visits them. I too came closer to Him than before, when God has to teach me to depend on Him and His sovereignty than any other source. He never leaves us when we go to Him. He waits.

Extract of the text of the man of God -

"Always seen this one thing happening. People have never drawn to God in their abundance. Never in history that has happened. But only in affliction."

Whenever people have gone through their downtimes, then only they cried unto the Lord. And God has always rescued them. Why He helped them?? So that with that blessing they will walk closer to God. So that with that blessing they will love Him more and more....
