In the new testament various words are used to refer to the term 'worship'. One is 'proskuneo' means "to worship" which means to bow down to the Lord Omnipotent.

Ps. 96:09 says "O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Prophet Samuel tells king Saul when Saul disobeyed the Lord - "To obey is better than sacrifice."

Topic : A Strong Reminder Not To Gossip Or Talk Against Any Servant Of God.

Dev. : Numbers 12: 1,2, 8 & 9. Then Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses.... And the Lord heard it.

The Lord hears our secret gossip and knows our secret thoughts too.

8th & 9th verse. The Lord said, "I speak with Moses face to face.. Why then you were not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?"

So, the anger of the Lord was aroused against them, and He departed... And Aaron turned towards Miriam, and there she was a leper.

Though Miriam was a prophetess God did not spare her when she gosipped against God's very own servant. Even though Moses was Miriam's own sister, God did not spare her.

One of the things that destroys our own life is gossip. It makes our lives truly joyless, fruitless, hopeless and above all, curse of the Lord will be upon us.

Other terms used in the bible for gossip include back bitter, slanderer, talebearer and whisperer.

"People who gossip with you will gossip of you in your absence." -Turkish proverb.

30th verse : Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and sais, "Let us go at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.

We need to think right, believe right, confess (declare right like Caleb) right and act right instead of thinking wrong and confessing wrong.

Topic : Worship and Praise Is Not An Event To Attend And Watch. Its A Lifestyle To Be Lived.

Very good and Joyful morning everyone!! Well I know it's the fact regarding the pandemic carona virus. But, the truth is, it cannot stop me and you from praising God. Praise and worship is our lifesyle.

Because the word of God says in Ps. 118: 24. This is the day the Lord has done. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Ps. 100:01. Make a Joyful noise unto the Lord.

Someone might discourage you, another one might put you down or pull you down. Let us not worry or bother much. The Lord is going to avenge them anyway. It does not matter. Just let us shrug it away. But, He will never put us down neither He will disappoint us. Amen!!

Every new day is indeed a creation of God. So, let us not make it another day which passes by, but every morning let us start a new page in our life. We can make an affirmation and say "this new day will be better than yesterday." Be it our personal or spiritual.

There is a familiar quote "life has no remote. Get up and change it yourself." Because no one else is going to do for you and me. We need to rise..

Doubts in our lives increases with our inaction. Clarity reveals itself in momentum. Growth comes from progress which happens only when we keep moving. So, let us BEGIN.

So, let us BEGIN. But, how do we start our day.? We need to begin with God and certainly not with mobile phones. We need to give the best hours early morning to begin with Praise and worship. And then get into our daily chores of our lives.

Why are you cast down, O my soul?? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise him..

The University commencement speaker chosen, has been the president of a large corporation. He was chosen for the occasion because of his success. Yet his speech came with a most unusual wish for the graduates.

The speaker told the students sitting before him in the graduate gowns, "If I could have one hope for you as you go out into the world is this. I hope you fail. Yes, fail at something that is important to you." He went on to say how his own life has been one failure after another, until he learned to see failure as an effective teacher.

Many of the songs in Psalms were born in the season of failure. Sometimes we fail to really to see the wonder of God's wisdom and strength until we grasp for breath in the exhaustion of our own strength and energy.

No doubt, we will be disappointed if we fail. But we will be doomed if we do not attempt because of fear of failure.

Recuring stories of the bible is that mountains of faith rise from the valleys of failure.

"Success is not measured by how we go up in life, but how many times we bounce back when we fail.

Topic : Overcoming FEAR And Anxiety.

I've shared umpteen number of times on the dreaded four letter word "FEAR." "False Evidence Appearing Real."

When we face sickness or such as pandemic surrounds us, or facing uncertainty in life, or going through deep financial crisis, job uncertainty, marriage uncertainty, health uncertainty, we have the inward fear dominating our behaviour. And our faith is severely tested and dented too!

A real life story! Fear ruled a man's life for 42 long years. Afraid of being caught for his crimes, he hid at his sister's farmhouse going nowhere and visiting no-one, even missing his mother's funeral. When he was 65 years old, then he learned and came to know that no charges had ever been filed against him. The man after 65 years has come to know the news and he was free all those years too. But lived a life of fear. A false illusion! However, he resumed his normal fear free life. But, he lost his entire prime age reeling under fear with guilt.

We all say we are God's children and yet we feel fearsome and lonseome sometimes when an adversity strikes us..

Likewise fear ruled the great Israelite's army and King Saul....
