A smile is the shortest distance between two people.

Dictionary describes 'cheerful' as an act of laughing and smiling.Our smile makes a difference.

When we share the good news with a smile, it brings life, it brings joy, it brings happiness and good health us and to others.

A smile can also spread happiness, start a friendship, dissolve an argument and mitigate anger.

Bible says in Proverbs 17:23

"A joyful heart is a good medicine but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."

Proverbs 15:13 "A glad heart makes a cheerful face but by sorrow of heart, the spirit is crushed."

Proverbs 15:30 "A cheerful look brings joy to the heart.

Well, I'm reminded of a familiar quote which says "Everyone you meet along the way has a battle they're fighting. So be kind to everyone along the way."

Smile can make someone overcome their depression, their anger, pain, anxiety etc.

When we smile at someone, we will make them smile back at us.

'Peace begins with a smile' - Mother Teresa.

Smile can brighten the darkest moments in others lives.

Smile and laughter reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, helps us to be more confident.

Smile and laughter 😃 is a good link for good health and longevity, and improves our immune system as per the medical experts.

Help us, Dear Lord to have You as the captain of our lives and also to have You as the Center of our lives so that we have a genuine smile that comes from within and sparks joy in the lives of others. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Topic: The Danger Of Being A People Pleaser To Gain Favour Than Being God Pleaser!

Whether we preach, whether we share testimony or whatever we speak or do, if we are truly God's children, we must make sure we utilise the time to exalt the name of Christ, to glorify the name of Christ alone. And not to speak anything or do anything be it our words, deeds and soending our energy to please people. By doing so we spoil the person whom we are boasting and the gain is short term and the pleasure will be purely momentary and temporary which will not last.

Ephesians 6: 6 and 7 says: Not with eye service as men pleasers but as children of God doing the will of God, doing from the heart as to the Lord and not unto men.

Col 3 22 : we must be aware that we are in His presence....

Paul says. If I were trying to please man, then I would not be a servant of God. We cannot serve two masters. We have to either live to please Christ or to please someone else. We see many choose to please people either while sharing or praying or doing anything. Without using the person's name at least once to get some favour we hear often people talk accordingly forgetting opportunity to praise God, to give glory to God, to build His Kingdom and to please Him is lost forever.

Living with an agenda always to please people can be exhausting because it does not allign with God's design and purpose at all.

Our significance is secured in Christ and secured by Christ. We need to see as His people whom God chose and set apart for His glory.

Embracing our calling of conformity to Christ, help us dear lord never to be tempted to take glory and give glory to others but only to be secured in you to exalt you and please you in whatever we do or speak.

Adversities not only changes people; but it also unmasks them.

Struggles, challenges and hard times offer us much more value than any other time in our lives. We cannot grow without struggle. We cannot get STRONGER without resistance.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9:

Apostle Paul says,

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.

We may be knocked down but we get up again and keep moving. That's what Paul shares with us.

Apostle Paul though he faced so much of persecution and obstacles yet he was finally victorious and successful in his mission.

Growth and success does not eliminate obstacles; they create new opportunities to grow. God is always walking with us amidst life's challenges.

Do you know how baby giraffe enters the world? A baby giraffe falls ten feet from its mother's womb and usually lands in its back. Within seconds it rolls over and tucks its legs under its body. From this position it looks at the world for the first time. Then the mother giraffe rudely introduces her offspring to the reality of life. How? By kicking the calf head over heels repeatedly until the calf rises to its feet for the first time.

The calf benefits from this harsh treatment by learning to move quickly around predators. This keeps the calf safe. The harsh treatment initially from the mother taught the baby giraffe the lessons to learn to be safe and alert in the world.

We too need to change the way we view obstacles. In the midst of trials, God wants us to grow steadily and become strong. Trials actually as I said, provide us opportunity to grow and not die. Obstacles can only detour us, but cannot stop us. All obstacles in life reveal what we really believe and who we really are.

Our struggles may be lasting but not everlasting. They are just part of our lives.....

But little David with no experience like today's Ollie Pope had another idea. David used the reservoir of power within and demolished Goliath forever giving freedom, joy, happiness, peace and hope to the fearful King Saul and his army.

Help us Lord to know that we are unique, gifted and blessed. Because of you who reign within us we are empowered to be bold, courageous and fearless to tackle life's situations. In your name we pray.

We all go through life's Challenges at various intervals of time. Sometimes we wish we were more wiser. Right decisions at right time have not been taken many a times. It reflects on our lack of wisdom. "Time and tide waits for no man." "Make hay whole the sun shines" is a familiar proverb. So taking a right or good decision at the right time is more important.

How many times we have seen in the Bible itself that people have navigated through wrong life making decisions and paid the price.

In adolescence many young people probably due to infatuation take wrong decisions in the worldly way without even looking into the guidelines of the trusted inspired Word Of God? And not only perished but brought brought themselves failure, shame and dishonor not only to themselves but to the fly. too.

Parents need to guide them in right path. And for that, they too cannot do it if they do not have Wisdom.

Wisdom is not money or wealth but Wisdom is to lead themselves in right path and lead others too which paves honor to them in the sight of God and in the society.

Wisdom is the values that develop which blesses us, prospers us and gives us, joy, peace, honor, success and hope for the life to live after death.

Well, we read several books and browse on net, take counseling but yet we find still lacking in making right divisions. These all help us but still we err in vital decision we make.

This all bring us to know that apart from all this Wisdom that we acquire from this world we need godly Wisdom to take bold and right decisions in life.

*James 1:5 says,* "If any of you need wisdom, let him ask of God that giveth to to all generously,... "

This Wisdom will make us upright in taking right decisions without regret and even any important decision.

We all have need and have urgent sos decisions to make be it studies for a student, job for the one who is waiting and marriage for someone.

Let us ask of God and draw close to Him and seek His wisdom. ....

Well, we live in a complicated and fast paced world that robs us of joys in life. Let us remember not to ignore the good news against adverse situations of life.

Let us not allow God's promises to be overshadowed by the Jericho walls that we face in life.

Let us rejoice altogether based on today's Word of truth. Our hearts need not be troubled because He has divine purpose for all of us inspite of ups and downs in life. Let us get rid of loneliness, fear and anxiety as we go nearer to Him. He will never abandon us. He loves us deeply and unconditionally. He has a clear plan for all of us even when life seems to be difficult, be it a relationship problem, family issue, or sickness or a daunting mountain ⛰️ to climb, He is there with us.

Let us admire that our good and compassionate God reigns over us and over all our situations of life.

Situation might look very difficult but God is not confused. He will provide everything we need according to His time and riches in glory.

If we need wisdom, let us ask Him. If we need strength and protection, let us lean on Him. God is on our side. And he still reigns over us.

These blessings are based on Joel 2nd chapter and psalm 34 10th verse:

We know faith without works is dead.

If you are student you need to study hard to be successful and depend on God in prayer..

If you are looking for a good job or a breakthrough in your profession, work hard and attempt. And then pray diligently.

If our heart is right in the sight of the Lord, if we are Trustworthy and walk in His ways diligently and have a clean heart or be a clean vessel, the blessings based on Joel 2nd chapter are:

1. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be delivered or saved. Joel 2 : 32.

2. He will restore to us what all we lost, what all is withheld. Means Restoring back what is lost. Joel 2 : 25.

Crumbling house 🏠 is rebuilt.

Crumbling home is rebuilt on peace and harmony.

Restoration of good physical health.

3. Ye shall eat in plenty. Means bkessings of abundance. 25th verse.

4. He shall deal wondrously with you. 27th verse

5. His faithful people shall never be ashamed.* 26th verse.

6. When They looked to him they were radiant and their faces were never ashamed.* Ps 34 : 5th verse.

7. Younger ones shall prophesy and see visions. Older ones shall dream dreams. 2 28.

One of the right character or example who was blessed physically, professionally, spiritually and became the top and revered leader in the Babylonian kingdom is Daniel.

He was blessed because He lived a Trustworthy life amidst severe trials and accusations.

He lived a faithful and victorious life when he encountered sweet temptations. He was able to say a firm "No" to tempting wine and food.

He was able to overcome all this because he depended on God for everything in prayer.

Help us Lord to work hard or study hard in our profession/ studies and be upright and trustworthy like Daniel so that we will reap these divine and wonderful blessings ...

Topic: A Weak Voice And AStrong Heart Or A Strong Voice And A Weak Heart, Which One Is More Important And Edifying?

When someone speaks having a good and strong Voice many people comment saying he or she has a good voice. But inside of the heart if there is nothing worthwhile, the good sweet voice is as good as the dead voice. Sweetest voice is nothing without having anything substantial to speak from the heart. It's like a well driven car having nothing in it.

An eloquent language with sweet voice without having a sound heart is useless in the pulpit.

Prov. 4 : 23: Gaurd our hearts or keep our heart with all diligence because out of it flows the issues of life.

If we have a wicked and cruel heart, God may bring no harvest or zero harvest even if we have strong voice and great talents.

God looks at our heart and blesses others when we speak event eventhough our voice may not be sweet to the ear, but sweet to the heart.

Let us remember, that when our heart is right everything will fall into place. If we observe, Bro. Bakth Singh had a very poor voice. He had a stamering tongue. God used that stammering tongue and poor voice to bring lakhs of people to Christ as His his heart was pure and diligent to share the gospel and his hesrt has been strong and right in the sight of Christ.

We can note, It's not a very great voice even of Bro. Billy Graham. God blessed his work and produced greatest revival and evangelical blessings to lakhs of people all over the globe. He does not have any titles like Bishop, prophet but mostly he used his title as Bro. Billy Graham, and he became one of the greatest evangelist in the world. His attitude and his heart has been sound. pure, humble and hungry to bring peace, hope and assurance. God does not see our titles but our heart.

There is a saying if heart is right, sweetness in the voice is inevitable even though the voice may not be attractive. Examples of these two great men of God. A stammering voice of Bro. Bakth Singh has been made sweet voice for people to come to Christ.

If someone says, You don't have a good voice, it doesn't matter. If your heart is good, diligent and caring, your life will be a great blessing to your very own sweet home, and it will bring encouragement and comfort to the society and make you fruitful and joyful in this Wearied World.

Gracious Lord! Though Moses had a stammering voice becsuse of His availability and a good heart you have made him a great and bold leader who brought Israelites from the bondage of slavery to the promised land. Help us Lord to have a diligent heart so that we be blessing in our homes and wherever we are placed...

Luke 4:18:

The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted...

Lucifer was once an angel. And he was anointed one no doubt to praise and worship God. But the pride led her downfall.

Jesus died on the cross sheding His precious blood. Jesus came as a Mediator, Redeemer and Saviour thereby demolishing and crippling the demonic powers of satan. His dying on the cross, shedding His precious blood and resurrection gave us redemption and restoration.

Satan once a Victor has become a defeated foe. Once an anointed one became a curse and desecrated.

Therfore, everyone who is washed with His blood has the power to overpower the satanic schemes and ploys.

The Spirit of God has anointed Jesus to break the yokes—the shackles of Satan—in our lives. When Jesus abides in us, the power of His anointing is brought to bear in our every need.

Jesus becomes our mediator between God and us, the mankind and a Restorer.

Jesus brings the gospel to the poor—not just those lacking in financial resources, but any of us who experience lack in our lives..

In place of turmoil, He gives peace. In place of doubt, He gives confidence. In place of exhaustion, He brings refreshing. In place of weakness, He grants strength.

Jesus has come to heal the brokenhearted. Our hearts are so susceptible to brokenness. They can be crushed through circumstances beyond our control, destroyed by decisions that we have taken and regret. And shattered by tragedies of the past.

One touch of His anointed hand can restore the splintered fragments. He fills our hearts with hope again. We sing a new song. We learn to love once more. He is a God of second chances and new beginnings. You can rise, return, repent and embrace hope, peace and purpose in enjoying everyday.
