Topic: Be A Value Added Person! You Will Earn Greater Blessings And Greater Rewards!

We are made in His image, the very image of God. Gen. 1:26 & 27. We as Christians often neglect ourselves as nobody when we know Jesus values us.

Keep your self esteem high irrespective of what people think.

Ps. 139: 13 to 16. You are unique, you are wonderfully made. These are all things done by the creator which gives us the worth and enhances our self image and adds value to our lives.

Respecting and acknowledging who you are is a huge part of valuing yourself.

A person works with a timber cutting employer. He cuts 100 logs every day. And usually takes at least 2 to 3 days leave in a month.

A new employee joins and starts cutting a whopping 500 logs every day and has not taken a single leave in his first three months he joined.

He not added value to himself in performance by cutting a whopping 500 logs but also added more value to himself by His trustworthiness without taking a single leave.

One doctor earns few thousands to perform one surgery. And another doctor performs a single surgery for few lakhs.

A doctor demands few thousands for a single visit to help in the corporate hospital. Another doctor demands few lakhs for a single visit.

People flock to a certain hospital because they have doctors who have proven worth. Their name in the corporate hospitals bring patients flocking to the hospital.

We all know there are 1000s and 1000s of Engineers passing out every year. Most of them do not get suitable job to their qualification. Few who get jobs their starting salary is ironically three lakhs 3.0 or 3.60 lakhs per annum. But there are few who did the same engineering course like others but get 18 lakhs per annum.

Few get even 36 lakhs per annum as their starting salary. Why so? They studied hard and did the engineering in prestigious IITs and NITs, prestigious institutes of India.

When an ex-person speaks the audience may not listen with interest. But, when an IAS officer or an IITian speaks the same crowd listen keenly with rapt attention. Why? You know it. They already added value to themselves in the society.

I share very often with the youth. There is a reward when you bend yourself to work and study hard. Succes comes to doers and not observers and dreamers. Work hard, come up in life and be useful to the society.

In order to feel confident and valued, you have to love all the good and bad of yourself. Remember to accept your mistakes and wrong decisions you made and work on your faults to be the best confident version of yourself and not someone else.

This works much better than comparing yourself to someone else pretier and smarter than you. braver than you or richer than you.

Don't compare yourself with anyone.

Embrace your mistakes.

And learn from them.

Take opportunities to develop yourself.

Share your journey of life with someone you trust deeply.

Even in our christian life, we ought to be a greater blessing to people and be brand ambassador of Christ. Being His children.

we have the direct added blessings with His power and having made Him our Savior. As a value added person we can encourage, strengthen, comfort people, deliver people who are under bondages and oppression and depression.

Being your children, washed in the blood of Christ, help us Lord to be an added blessing to those who are deprived of joy, peace, contentment and purpose in life... Amen...

Topic: Not Our Ability / Talents But Character Is More Important. Jealousy And Envy Are Much More Dangerous Than Cancer..

Mt. 5:16. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven.

The light of Christ and His divine traits must be reflected in our life. That's the purest form of biblical character.

Our Abilities might take us to top but we can slide down if we are slack, but our character keeps us always on top in the sight of everyone. Character is the highest virtue.

A character is a special moral quality regarded as good, meritorious and excellent in virtue as per the dictionary... It's the sum total of a person's values, beliefs and personality. It needs to be preserved more than a precious diamond or a pearl. Wealth can be lost, but if character is lost, we loose everything.

Honesty, godliness, contentment,

endurance -

during hardships, failures, insults, humiliation and criticism is the purest of character.

Saul was very happy with David when he defeated Goliath and whenever he came and played music and worshipped before him. He was refreshed. But the day when king Saul heard women saying, "Saul killed 1000s and David killed 10000s he literally lost his peace and became peaceless and restless. He became jealous and envious about David's rise. His envious wandering eyes destroyed him completely and even from kingship and God allowed the other hunted person to occupy his throne. In my opinion more dreaded than cancer which destroys not only our peace, but makes us restless, peaceless and anxious about the rise of our own christian fraternity and even in the society, church, amongst relatives, peer group and friends.

There are few in this world with their wicked wandering eyes look with wicked thought when someone does good and sweet work. and being appreciated by someone, their eyes wander with envy and restlessness. It is unfortunately and ironically much more prevalent in Christian circles who professed to be believers.

I learned something from a great man of God who quoted saying, "There are more Christians who have much and more Word of God in their head but zero in their heart." Its indeed truly said.

It gives me a warning to check myself often and you need to do the same, if we want peace, true success and be fruitful in what we do in His sight.

There are some who gossip and make efforts and waste precious time to plot evil and plan to accuse falsely, seeing the rise of others to fame, success and popularity. There are several examples in the Bible we can study. The very leaders, Pharisees and Saducees, the priests were filled with jealousy and envy when multitudes appreciated Jesus miracles and teachings and believed in Him. They plotted plotted plotted several times to kill him seeing the rise of Jesus as the "king of kings."....

Topic: When We Go Through Distress Or Distressing Times And Trouble What We Need To Do?

Often We can't understand why we go through distress and trouble? Why some did not settle financially? Why some lost their jobs? Why their loved one is not healed or why a friendship ended prematurely? Why relationships are broken sustaining no peace?

There are some things we only learn through pain—and sometimes it’s through the pain of other people.

It’s wise to learn from our own experiences, but it’s wiser to learn from the experiences of others—and to let others learn from our pain.

Job 36:15 says, “God teaches people through suffering and uses distress to open their eyes”

What does God want you and I to understand about the distress we are going through right now?

We all go through different kinds of trouble. But no matter what our specific pain is, God wants us to learn these three things from it:

First, we learn to DEPEND more on God through our pain. God wants to teach us about himself—about his power through our weakness, his love when we feel unlovely, his grace when we feel unforgiven, and his wisdom when we don’t know which way to turn. And in the crossroads.

Second, we learn to TRUST and obey God’s Word when you’re in pain. It’s easy to trust God when things are going great. It’s not so easy when things are going bad.

King David said in Psalm 119:67, “Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word” (NIV). Lessons learned through failure and painful mistakes will drive us to claim and trust in God’s promises. His Word provides hope that he is with us and has not stopped working for us and in us.

Third, we learn through pain that we NEED other people in our lives. If you never had any pain in your life, you wouldn’t think you needed anybody. It’s only in pain that some people admit that they need others to help them. Pain is one of the most powerful reminders that you’re not meant to go through life alone.

If you’re going through pain right now, trust that what God is teaching you will be helpful to others as you pass the lessons on to friends, family, and even future generations.

Can you think of someone who would benefit from the lessons you are learning from your painful experience?

Help us Lord to depend on you rather than anything else and help us to trust you completely and help us to take help by having right fellowship with life minded people who desire to live in the light of Christ.

Good Listener Allows Others To Speak Manifesting True Empathy, Unselfishness And Humility..

I shared yesterday the other day, listening is the most important skill a leader can master. It is the basis of so many other skills and traits that make up a leader. However, it is a tough skill to master as it requires lot of crushing our ego and humbleness is required.

Good listening skills in this digital era, due to information overload and shortened attention span, is fast becoming an endangered species.

Someone may be highly talented. But if he doesn't show interest in listening to another talented person it's obvious that pride and jealousy will never allows them to listen as they jeep thinking that they are much higher by all means.

Why listening is sooo important?

Because listening I feel is the foundation of all hunan relationship. When we listen, it builds trust, compassion and understanding. We show respect first by listening first instead of rushing to speak even before other person is speaking.

Prov. 18: 13 warns, "He who answers a matter even before hears it, it is folly and shame to him.

Many of us are guilty of starting a conversation and putting a thought or question out there, but we don’t give ourselves a chance to listen to what others have to say because we never stop talking, or we are so busy formulating our reply to what we assume they will say. Don't just listen with the outer ear but with the inner ear. Listen with the intent to hear and understand and not to reply and argue.

As I shared earlier, Listening forms the foundation of good relationships. Why?

Because it shows you care. Empathy and listening go hand in hand. You can't display empathy or emotional intelligence if you do not listen. The quality of our listening determines the quality of our influence.

Listening transmits that kind of respect and builds trust. This leads to more motivated and committed team be it office, church or society.

On average, we retain just 25 percent of what we hear, which is because of our busyness and lack of listening skills.

Most of the highly talented persons and gifted could not come up successfully because of their poor listening skills obviously due to being proud and never humble themselves to listen, be it in office or church or in a society.

They only love to speak but not keen to listen because of their ego.

Those who are true Christians can be identified easily in few moments. Well, They listen with intent to understand, realise and then respond.

Help us Lord to have the heart of listening to others with love, empathy and emotional intelligence.

Topic: A Keen Listener Is A Good And Effective Leader.

James 1:19, 20. My beloeved brethren, let every person be swift to hear, slow to speak....

It simply says, we must be keen to listen first and then speak.

Listening is the most important skill a leader can master as it requires to be more present, attentive, engaged, open and flexible.

Listening forms the true foundation of Good relationships.

Every good leader has to be a keen listener.

Few examples of leaders:

A principal and teacher in a school are leaders, parents and spouse. Even entrepreneurs are leaders,

C & M.D, President, Vice President, Gen. Managers, Managers are all leaders in an Organusation. Bishops, Pastors and Christian Counselors.

It is the single most important of all communication skills. More important than stirring oratory. More important than a powerful voice. Good Listening skills is truly where effective communication begins.

My own life experience.

It was highly challenging to me and my leadership was tested to the hilt when I was working for one of the companies called, Hyderabad Battreries Limited - HBL, and we supply mostly to Defence, Goverment sector.

I was heading two battery divisions Nickel Cadminum and Silver Zinch Batteries in the company as a Purchase head. I had to lead these two challenging professional teams mostly comprised of qualified engineers and MBAs having good experience.

And suddenly there came the Kargil war against Pakistan. And there is no time.... We need to supply in no time. 'Just in time' concept.

One thing I learned in my previous companies helped me. Listening without interrupting.

We had teams for fabrication of S.S battery cases, moulding of rubber and copper items, press fit components. We have to arrange from all vendors/ ancillaries and supply to production dept.

I listened intently to all my teammates without disturbing them. And finally at the close I spoke few words of guidance. It created wonders. It built the relationship and the bonding without bloating the egos. We supplied successfully to the Defence in time.

With a good relationship and bonding anything can be achieved.

There are two very good reasons to listen to other people. 1. We learn things that way, and 2. People respond to other people easily as it builts the relationship.

Most people do not listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply. They cannot be good leaders and ethical relationship and bonding will be missing sorely. That's we hear like 'unhappy with boss' "unhappy in family life" ...

Especially as Christians a good and effective Counselor will be a keen and good listener. A keen listener will win many with few wise words than the one keeps on speaking showing his talent and pride. We as Christians can be effective leaders if we listen to them keenly with interest and showing empathy.

Help us to be good Counselors Lord by listening to others keenly without hastily interrupting. And with patience and empathy to build relationships in the society, in the office, in the home and everywhere. ....

Topic: God's Presence Is Always There With His Children! He Will Support And Be With Us In The Time Of Trouble.

Isaiah 43:2-3.

“When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up—the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord your God.”

When you became a Christian, can we expect life to suddenly be easy? No! But His presence will be always with us.

"If you look the right way, you can see the whole world is a garden."

"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."

The only ray of hope in trouble is God being with us..

If you did, I am sure you found out pretty quickly that Christians too face all kinds of trials—including relational, financial, physical, and mental. Some people expect life to be heaven on earth. But this is not heaven!

We pray for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven—because then it would be done perfectly.

Everything on this planet is broken. The weather, the economy, our bodies, and our relationships don’t always work right. We can be sure that, because of sin, bad things will happen.

We can also be assured of God’s promises to support us in all the trouble we will face on this earth.

When we go through deep waters and rivers of difficulty, God doesn’t promise that we won’t get wet; sometimes life hurts. But God does promise that we are not going to drown.

When you go through the fire, it’s going to get hot. But God promises that we are not going to burn up. We are going to make it through.

Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace]”. That doesn’t mean that you can do anything because of who you are. It means you can have confidence in whatever trouble life brings because you face it with the power of Christ in you.

You may not feel very strong right now. But strength will come when you need it. The Bible doesn’t say to ask God for your weekly or monthly bread. It says to pray something like this: “God, give me my daily bread. I need just enough strength for today.”

God will support you in your trouble. He always gives you the strength you need for today.

Help us to understand on times of troubles and testings Lord you are our hope and strength, and you are our Rock, Refuge, Fortress and Strong tower 💪. Help us to understand you will be with us till the end...

We need to know that "doubt increases With inaction; growth comes from progress; so for all reasons, BEGIN.

Jeremiah had every excuse ready when God called Him to be a prophet instead of taking the initiative.

Moses gave several excuses to God before he took the challenge to lead Israelites to promised land.

Help us to be cautious of the time and redeem the time without losing out any good thing in life.

Topic : Blossom 🌸 As A Beautiful Flower In The New Year!

Man's days are like grass; He flourishes like a flower 🌼 in the garden. Song of Solomon 2:12

The word, Blossom means, to yield; to develop; to flourish; to progress.

A garden in which roses Blossom. God expects all those who claim to be His children to keep growing and make progress everyday, like how a rose plant begins to grow. It starts as a bud and does not remain as a bud. It grows little by little and it opens up it's petals slowly. Then it becomes a beautiful rose or a flower so pleasant to watch and even to smell.

Butterflies do not go to the plant when it is in the bud stage to Suck nectar. They go to a well bloomed flower and thus honey is produced.

We don't need to use trumpets regarding our arrival. 😃

"Happiness held is the seed; Happiness shared is the flower." - John Harriican.

Need to become a blooming flower to be a blessing.

Similarly no one likes to come to us when we are not yet blooming as a flower. A flower produces sweet honey. 🍯..

God wants us to bloom where we are planted. James Oppenheim said. "The foolish man seeks happiness in the distance, the wise grows it under his feet."

We can bloom and flourish like a well bloomed flower and the world looks at you and me knowing we are blessed.

Ps. 92 13 says, "Those who are planted in the house 🏠 of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God."

Anyone who attends the church may not be planted there. Being planted means surrendering and yielding your life to Jesus.

And bring faithful and loyal to God and to His church.

Lord close our carnal eyes and open our Spiritual eyes to see your truth in thy Word Word to have deeper revelations and mysteries, and open our ears to hear your still small voice choking all the undesired voices that disturb us, and Lord open our hearts to receive all you want us to receive....

The priorities that we choose wield great power in our lives. They determine what we do and where we go; they decide our “Yes” and our “No.”

Always strive for your self-respect and give priority to yourself. Firstly take responsibility for your own after then, take for others. So, if you want to grasp all the joys in your life, make sure to give priority to yourself.

"Focus on your priorities before your priorities lose focus on you."

"Desires dictate our priorities, priorities shape our choices, and choices determine our actions."

"The mark of a great man is one who knows when to set aside the important things in order to accomplish the vital ones."

We have to decide what our highest priorities are and have the courage – pleasantly ans smilingly to say 'no' to other things

Where are our treasures and our heart? Let us take a look at our calender... Where do we invest our time and energy? Where do we spend our money? Those are the things we value most.

God has mapped out the year before us. He has promises to fulfill, good work for us to accomplish, people for us to reach, and lessons to be learned.

The priorities that we establish today will set us up to accomplish what God has ordained in every tomorrow!

Take hold of the priorities that abound in God’s Word. More than just acknowledging His truth, our willingness to obey the places we in the proper position to receive His blessings. These tried-and-true promises come from God Who never fails. His Word never fails when we try and obey.

Priorities are the keys to unlock the power and prosperity of God in every area of our lives. Priorities apart from God are the keys that lock us into what we will be. Will you embrace the year that God has planned for you? The choice lies in the power of your and my priorities.

Help us to set priorities rightly so that decisions we make will take us higher and higher in life. In Jesus name...

We Wish, because we are privileged to be His children, washed with His blood. We wish because we are blessed to bless others. All God's children are blessed to pray for others and to pronounce goodness of joy, peace and good health in the lives of others.

Because we are in Christ, we are a new creation and old things have passed away. 2 Corin. 5 : 17.

We need to forget the past, the good and bad and move or press forward for better and better.. and higher and higher.

Ps. 65 : 11 says, "You crown the Year with your goodness and your path drip with abundance."

We wish to wish that God crowns you with goodness and your path to abundance in the new year. Be the voice of God as a God's child.

Pray and be an encourager to someone wishing them goodness and abundance. Pronounce and decree the blessings of God on someone. I don't say, "Stay blessed," but I say, "Be blessed to be a blessing" in this new year.

As you are blessed, be that voice and instrument to pray and wish the new year a healthy new year, a peaceful new year, a joyful new year, a meaningful new year and a Victorious new year. Because as per the Word, goodness of God prevails in our lives. Amen!

We must not dwell on the past success and glory and sit on them and become stagnant, but we need to press on and move higher and higher... experiencing new Testimonies...

Lord as your children being blessed, help us to pray and wish goodness in the lives of others, bring joy in those lives who are Wearied, defeated and despondent. Help us to have the heart of doing good to others. ...
