Philippians 4:6 says, Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

You may not hear the word “fret” much anymore. It’s an older word that just means “worry.” When you fret, you get stressed out, anxious, and impatient. You worry because things are either happening too fast and you can’t handle the change or because things are going too slow and you want God to speed things up.

We don’t usually mind waiting if we have hope about it. But when we choose to wait patiently on God instead of fretting, it is a statement of faith. We are making a declaration about God’s character. When we wait patiently, we’re saying that we trust God and have faith in him. We’re humbly admitting our dependence on him.

The Bible says in Psalm

37:7, “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways”

One of the biggest reasons we get stressed out is because we’re constantly comparing ourselves to others. Instead of focusing on God’s love and what he’s done for us, we look at other people, focusing on what they have that we don’t.

Comparing ourself to others is never wise. Why? Because God has a plan for your life that’s different from his plan for anyone else. If you’re wishing that God gave you another person’s plan, then you’re going to miss the plan for your life! Comparing leads to fretting. When you compare, you start worrying.

But worry is worthless. Any second you spend worrying is wasted, because worry can’t accomplish anything. Worry can’t change the past. It can’t control the future. It’s only going to make our life miserable today. It’s like sitting in a rocking chair, going back and forth, back and forth. You don’t make any progress, and we use a lot of energy that's wasted.

Worry will never change anything, but prayer will.

Lord we would not like to fret this Christmas season because of some trials in our lives, but trust His birth and resurrection and live hopeful and joyful life. ....

Topic : Struggle Is Synonymous With Growth!

Romans: 5: 3.

And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

"For every storm there is a rainbow."

"There is weeping in the night, but joy comes in the morning."

"For every dark cloud there is a silver lining."

Being grafted into the Vine does not guarantee eternal sunshine and storm-free days for the plant. On the other side of salvation, we often endure seasons of struggle.

We experience dry deserts and devastating storms. We endure the cold winters and uncertain cyclones and hail storms which we often experience.

Be assured that hard times will bring a harvest!

If our life in Christ will mature, we must be willing to experience growing pains. Struggle is synonymous with growth! In the vineyard, every branch that produces clusters of glowing grapes has suffered pain to mature.

The seed planted in the soil has struggled to break ground. The plant has struggled to dig deep roots, to push out leaves, to blossom and bear fruit. We celebrate the harvest, but pain accompanies production or fruit bearing.

By nature, we resist struggle. We prefer pain-free days. We long for the easy route, the results without the cost of growth. But we will not have the strength to sustain growth if we do not work for the outcome.

Where is our character developed? The good days do not make us emotionally strong, expand our confidence, or establish our fortitude. Struggle makes us strong. We can glory in tribulations knowing that our perseverance produces much fruit....

Topic: Don't Declare Your Defeated Situation. Declare The Divine Word.

Matt. 4:4.

But Jesus answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'"

Even Jesus when He was tempted by Devil after 40 days of fasting, He used simple solution. He cited and declared the Divine Word on all three occassions He was tempted by the tempter.

If we go thorough Matt 4th chapter, After Jesus’ baptism, the Holy Spirit led Him into the wilderness where He fasted for 40 days. At the end of that time, Satan appeared to tempt Him.

Satan waited for the fortieth day when Jesus was hungry and exhausted. *Our greatest temptations come when we are emotionally, physically, and spiritually spent and dried up.

Satan tempted Him first by opening the door of doubt: “If you are the Son of God….” Sound familiar? “If you are really saved….” “If God really loves you….” sows seeds of doubts.

Secondly, Satan tempted Jesus by demanding: “Turn these stones into bread.” He pushes us to accomplish things in our own strength....

Jesus did not argue with him. He did not point out His ability to destroy Satan and his works. He simply declared, “It is written.” He did something that we can do – even when we are at our weakest.

We run to the source that declares us triumphant. Whether we are in a battle for our life, our business, or our family… we need to quote- "it is written."

When we speak the promises of God, they become the Living Word to bring us victory over the evil one’s intention to defeat and destroy. God has placed him under our feet. It is written.

In every situation of our life, we don't have to Google search, but we have solutions to every situation of our life in the Divine written Word of God.

Help us to hide the Divine and living Word within and declare them to gain victory, guidance and solution to every problem we face Lord....

Psalm 34:19 King David says "Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers them out of them all.

If you are righteous, if I am righteous, God will be with us in all our afflictions.

Psalm 119, as we know it is the longest chapter in the Bible. Few verses taken from this Psalm, verses 67 to 80.

67th verse : Before I was afflicted, I went astray but now have I kept thy Word.

71st verse : It is good for me that I have afflicted that I might learn thy statutes.

Yes Lord, not only learning thy statutes but implementing it and obeying the statutes.

75th verse, I know Oh Lord that thy judgements are right and that thou in faithfulness have afflicted me. Amen.

74th verse, They that fear thee will be glad when they see me because I have hoped in thy Word.

In his book, "The problem of pain," C.S Lewis said God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks to us in blessings but shouts to us in our pain.

But even then, many Christians are unable to hear the voice of God because they hear elsewhere the voices of the world and after facing failures they come to God.

It is said only while going through challenges, setbacks, tough times people realize the need of the Lord God Almighty and come out more mature and stronger in faith, stronger in life and closer in relationship with God Almighty than ever before.

We are not alone in the experience of pain. God Himself came in human form and suffered but rose victoriously giving us hope. Joseph and Job are examples. Persevere pain and suffering. Triumphant finally through success and glory.

Yes, Dear Lord. In comforts, we abandon you but only in pain and suffering we draw closer towards you. We allow your righteous afflictions so that we might not drift away from you, from your presence but we need your grace because you are Our sustaining Saviour. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Topic: Peace Of Christ In This Peaceless And Wearied World!

World is in pursuit - in search for peace in this peaceless and violent world.

Everyone, everyone including people with riches and wealth, fame and stature too struggle to find rest and peace.

And everyone strive for one thing more than any other, and that is peace which eludes them. The reason they seek it is because there is no lasting comfort or freedom in their lives inspite of having everything in life.

Why we see now and then several famous film actors who go into depression and attempt suicide though they have wealth, fame and status? Because they cannot find meaning and purpose in life. It's like they are unsettled and restless.

Well, the Bible defines peace primarily in three ways.

Psychological peace - the comfort within.

Relational peace - harmony among humanity.

Spiritual peace - peace within God and man.

The Word of God outlines how sin damages or wipes out all three forms of peace.

When God created man, he was at peace with God, himself and everyone else.

However, that peace was lost when he turned and rebelled against God.

Peace can be restored but we can't do it alone. God provided a way.

Some people say when they drink little or more wine, they will have little peace.

They think so but on the contrary it makes them more lonely and miserable and further, their health is destroyed.

Jesus Christ, God's only son was sent to this world to take away our sins and He did so by allowing Himself to be crucified and it was that sacrifice that made it possible for us to have peace again, peace restored, peace within ourselves, peace with each other and peace with God.

After Jesus died on the cross, He came back to life. That demonstrated that Jesus is God but also made it clear that He desires for everyone to have that perfect peace.

Ephesians 2:14-17 says for He Himself is our peace and He came and preached peace to you who were far and peace to those who were near too.

Jesus empowers each of us to overcome every type of sin. No matter what situation it is, Christ can break through it. But we must first acknowledge, repent of our sins and commit our sins to Jesus. And then we may have perfect peace and know its meaning.

John 16:33 says Jesus said I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me.

We acknowledge therefore Lord and we know that you are indeed the Prince of Peace. We therefore desire to have you in the Center of our lives to have peace and rest in this restless world.

In Jesus sovereign name we pray, Amen.

Topic: Prince Of Peace. Jesus Is Called Is "The Prince Of Peace."

Out of the five names by which Jesus is called in Isia 9:6 is "The Prince Of Peace."

Why Jesus is called the Prince of Peace"? Because He is the only one who can bring true peace, restoration, healing deliverance redemption, and reconciliation between the sinful mankind and God. When medicines and doctors sometimes fail, Jesus still gives us peace and assurance that still a miracle can take place. That's the hope and peace we have.

The Prince of Peace is the Hebrew Word Shalom, which means the one who destroys all the disturbing forces and secures Peace to us.

Peace in another words is the absence of war, freedom from disturbance, freedom from anxiety or absence of disturbed mind absence of anxiety and mental stress, being calm and quite, freedom from disputes, and having harmonious relationship with everyone.

The entire world is in quest for peace which brings true happiness. Celebrities have wealth, money, fame and limelight but still in their private life they go through depression. They take anti- drpression drugs to cope up. And they also take counseling to come out of it.

Even for Christians depression has become the sanctuary and a way of life. It's because we are unable to understand and comprehend the size, capacity and omnipotent and omniscient power of the living God.

Why do we think the very rich and celebrities get into taking drugs? Simple. If not all, many don't have peace. Life is disturbed.. with anxiety and mental stress. And lack of true love and no purpose in life.

The whole world is in quest to find true love and peace. And its found only in Jesus Christ. He is the answer. He is the only way, the truth and the life. John 14 : 6.

Lord during this season we see many celebrate Christmas without having Christ in their heart and therefore lose the most important thing in life, peace and happiness....

Topic: The Best Cleansing Agent In Our Lives - Word Of God.

We have We different grades of detergents to wash our clothes. Surf, Surf Excel, and for delicate clothes, there is Genteel cleansing detergent.

But for our lives to clean from dirt and black spots, the best cleansing agent is the Word of God.

You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

John 15:3

The Word of God is a cleansing agent in our lives. The water of the Word washes us from our sinful pasts and painful habits to make us clean and complete in Christ.

In Exodus 30, God instructed Moses to build a bronze laver for the Tabernacle. Before the priests could minister at the altar or enter the Holy Place, God required them to wash and then enter.

When we read the Word of God, we look into a mirror. We see our reflection there. We read it, and – since the Word is alive – it reads us. If a woman looked into a mirror and saw smeared lipstick and smudged mascara, she would make again and again the necessary remake to be presentable again.

We must do the same. We need cleansing. When we open God’s Word and see our flaws reflected there, we must seek forgiveness at once and not delay, and turn away from it and then see in the mirror of the Word of God.

With His help, we must make the necessary changes to come into alignment with what He requires as how a woman does with her lipstick.

We must act on what we see! Do not glance in the mirror, walk away, and forget what the Word has spoken. We need to be cleansed by His Word.

Often times, the stains and the spots remain because many just read the Word of God as a ritual without remembering what is read.

We need to make best use of the cleansing agent - Word of God so that we can be clean, clear and look good not only on the outside but from within.

Ps. 119: 9. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse His way? By taking heed according to the Word of God.

Cleansing agent does not allow the dark spots to come up. Thy Word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee. Ps. 119: 11.

Wash ne thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

A cleansed person will never stink and become rotten but becomes a usable vessel to be used.

1 John 1 9 says, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all our unrighteousness.

Cleanse us O Lord so that the world is drawn towards us because of the aroma of Christ we portray. In ....

In other words His name can be called as marvelous, inspiring, excellent, magnificent...

Marvelous because Jesus is the marvel of marvels, the miracle of miracles, and His works were miraculous. His works are miraculous even now, if we believe. He is more than a man, He is God's highest miracle.

Inspiring because Christ teachings have been always inspiring laced with wisdom, authority and His words were of pure love to bring mankind out of sin, desperation and despair. And His deeds were magnificent beyond human can ever do. Great is the mystery of godliness; God in Christ was manifested in the flesh.

Exaggeration is the word can be used for when we speak of human being but not when we speak of Christ, the one who is sinless...

He is the chief among ten thousand and all together lovely and lively.

I strongly believe that all of us who believe Christ's death, burial and resurrection and His risen power, and repented of our sins and received Him as His Saviour are privileged to experience His divine, magnificent and His marvellous blessings.

As we allow Christ to grow in our lives which means having His divine nature and come closer and closer to Him, we see God as Wonderful, Marvelous, Magnificent, Blessed And Supernatural.

We experience the glad 😊 tidings of great unspeakable joy which the shepherds, Wiseman, Mary, Elizabeth heard.

Lord we thank you as we surrender our lives to you, help us to experience that unspeakable joy and peace, and help us to show and share that joy and peace to others. In ....

Ps. 91:1-3. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

I really don't know how this year 2023 has been for you. May be Life was mixed with joy and sorrow, like a roller coaster or ike a pendulum swinging up and down. May be something you desired did not happen. May be the year has been filled with joy sometimes and sometimes hunted you with doubts, fear of unknown, fear of not settling down, fear of falling health, fear of losing loved ones, and dark side of life might have cropped up here and there like thorns and thistles in life.

Well, I too experienced life's Trials and tribulations like everyone else in this year. But to share with you, these Trials of life never derailed me in moving ahead in life joyfully and victoriously most of the times if not all the times. When Trials buffet me, I draw even more closer to God which brings out hope, assurance and joy amidst Trials of life.

When we are humble, He makes us His instruments and usable vessels to be of use to the master. I met several people and shared that joy and peace which remains in me even in thick & thin of my life. Visited and Prayed for several families who lost their loved ones to strengthen and comfort them in their hour of grief and Sorrow. Counseling people who needed guidance. Counselled and prayed for several sick people and families.

Yes dear beloved! You may have everything in life, wealth - movable and immovable property, but still you may feel lonely and fearful. There is still a void and emptiness in life. That can be filled only by Jesus. A complete surrender is needed.

Most of you experience that joy that doesn't depend on circumstances that we face, Trials that we face but the joy and peace within remains at all times.

Those who embraced Word of God never had regrets or will never have regrets in life. They will have peace Ps. 119:165. They will be guided in right directions and in making right decisions. Ps. 119:105.

They will have a clean ❤️ Ps. 119: 9. A clean and holy heart produces joyful life.

Thank you Lord for this year 2023. Help us to dwell in the secret place of the most high so that we abide under the shadow of thine Omnipitence.

Help us not to wait for the new year to arrive, but to enjoy and experience that fulness of joy and peace even now and every moment as you are God of not tomorrow but God of today - now and future. In Jesus...

Topic: Goal Setting! It Is Not Only Important Spiritually But Also For The Progress Of Our Professional And Famiiy Life Too!

The definition of Goal setting as per Cambridge dictionary is "the process of deciding what you want to achieve or what you want someone else to achieve over a particular period."

Goal setting isn’t just a good idea for productivity. It’s a spiritual discipline, like prayer, fasting, giving, and reading your Bible. Those who adhere to these will be successful in the spiritual and will be blessed to be a greater blessing.

In fact, goal setting can be an act of stewardship as you try to make the most of all God has given you.

A passionate person who has a goal and discipline to accomplish will always be successful.

You can waste your life. 1000s of people do it and regret later! To make the most of your life and invest it in a way that outlasts you, you’ll need goals with discipline to fulfill it.

Even God sets goals. The Bible says, “God planned to bring all of history to its goal in Christ." - Ephesians

1 :10. God didn’t sit around and let the history of the world unfold in a way He found appropriate. He planned history. God has goals for the church. God has goals for every facet of the universe.

History is moving to a climax. There will be a judgment day, when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. History is moving toward that goal—because God planned it that way.

If God plans, then we should too. God wants us to be like him in all facets of our lives, including goal setting of our day to day life.

Some say, "I will live as I like." That’s not spiritual. It’s foolish! You shouldn’t go one more day without making plans for this week, this month, and the future years as long as God allows us to live.

The Bible has more than 7,000 promises from God to you — promises of success, confidence, health, prosperity, strength, wisdom, and more. Why does God make these promises? Most of these promises of course have some conditions to fulfill.

Eg. Ps. 37: 4. Delight in the law of the Lord. And He will fulfill the desires of your heart.

The first part of the bible is a command. The 2nd part is the promise to anyone who obeys the 1st part. I.e to delight in the Word of God.

When we set a goal, we don’t have to focus on the problems; but focus on the promises. Find a promise in God’s Word that will take you to your goal.

Gen. 6 :14. The Lord commands Noah to build an ark. Noah had a goal and plan to build an ark as per God’s command and fulfilled it successfully inspite of criticism and fun made by people. He and his family survived and the rest perished.

The size of your God you picture within your mind determines the size of your faith to fulfill your goal.

Let us start making some plans, and trust God to fulfill his promise to bring everything in history—including all of us —to its goal in Christ.

Gracious Lord, help us to have the passion to fulfill our goals by proper goal setting and discipline not to be distracted and diverted from it.
