Simple and direct answer! Dont try to have any agents. Their favours are conditional and temporary. So, connect with God directly.

What do we mean by the word Favour? Favour means God stepping into one’s situation to make a worthwhile difference. Favour is the highway to connect your destiny. In Genesis 6:8, the Bible says: “But Noah found Grace in the eyes of the Lord

Everyone preaches - favour of God is upon you, tickle the audience into temporary joyful emotions which disappear like 'a soda bottle spirit experience. Favour of God is not like a magic wand nor like an Alladin's lamp. We may be best preachers, pastors, best organisers of Christian events, best worship leaders. All these are fine. But all these will not entitle us to have favour of God, unless we are loyal, faithful, trust worthy and dependable. Bro. Bakth Singh, Br. Billy Graham had favour upon them because they were trustworthy and dependable.

Few prerequisites to have favour and ultimate blessings of God to take us to the highest level.

1. *Walk intimately with Christ.* Then we will never look back for sweet sins to return. Why we don't have His Favour is we keep dinning and so we don't have intimacy to walk with God. We don't have any details of what Enoch did during his life, other than he walked with God. Enoch might have had great talks and experience with God.

2. *Be faithful to God* when facing your favourite temptations or sins. Favour of God descendent upon Joseph when he overcame sweet temptation. .Gen. 39 20 & 21. Joseph's master took Joseph and put him in prison.

But the Lord was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy and gave him favour.

3. *Be faithful and bold to stand to testify.*

Daniel had favour of God because he was faithful bold and courageous even when they threatened to put him in lions den......

Topic : A Cheerful Countenance! A Merry Heart Makes A Cheerful Countenance🙂Pr. 15 :13.

But the sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

We all need a cheerful countenance that comes from a cheerful heart. Millions all over the world desire to have a cheerful countenance, the rich, wealthy, the elite, the celebrities, successful sports personalities, they all put up a smiling face, but yet their countenance tells it all. It's never a cheerful countenance.

The reason being their lives are empty without a purpose. It has a big void. Many of the hearts lack faith in God, deceitful, pervert, crooked, unholy, revengeful, pride, do not relish success of others, corrupt, manupulations... Well all these will cripple them with false self image with artificial smile but joy is missing. Cheerfulness is missing. We may have everything with us, but with in our hearts its impossible for such to have a true cheerful countenance.

Then who can have a cheerful countenance?

1. Firstly we must have the Lord's genuine forgiveness of sins. Mt. 9 12 says - Son be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven.

And have Him as our Saviour and Lord. John 1:12.

2. Having Lord's Presence is most important in our lives to have a cheerful countenance. No fake smiles needed. It alone gives us a clean heart .

It makes our hearts merry joyful and blissful which automatically makes our countenance cheerful and beautiful too. A cheerful person is always a strong personality. Andhe has good health and longevity too!

Help us to have a clean heart without deceit and always strive your presence in our lives, so that our countenance will be always cheerful n joyful....

Topic: Storms And Adversities Of Life! They Bring Us Much Closer To God Than In Abundance....

We see Christ's presence with His disciples does not keep the storm away. There are no promises in the Bible that God's chosen people shall not have any storm.

Storms arise even when we are in plain line of duty, Even when we are faithful. Even when Christ is with us, storms do arise...

Matt. 08:23 to 26. And suddenly there arose a great tempest on the see so that the boat was covered with the waves.

The disciples had not put out to sea of their own suggestions. Jesus was in the boat and was sleeping. The lessons we learn here is storms arise even when we are in our plain routine line of duty and when Christ is with us. Jesus never said that we will not have storms, but He will be with us and lead us out to greener pastures when we don't give up.

So, we should not be discouraged by the difficulty or the trouble or the fiery storm that buffets us and conclude that we are in wrong path. Word of God says, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous..

There are sudden storms of temptation and trials which sweep down with sudden and terrific power from the cold mountain of this world. There are storms of sickness, of disappointment and disillusionment, storms of adversities, of sorrow and grief that makes the waves and bellows to roll over the soul. Thus many of the life storms come suddenly. We all need to be geared up as we do not have any revelation gift operating. They do not hang out any danger signals for us to foresee. The hopes cherished for years wither in our hands in a night. If, we are God's children we have a hope that "for every storm Jesus gives a silver lining." He gives us a hope beyond hope which no religeon can give. Only crucified an risen christ alone can gives us.

Why God allows His children to suffer pain and privation? Through suffering God makes us spiritually nature and more blessed.

Song - Handel's Messiah, "Hallelujah Chorus." It is evident that the world is full of suffering. Physical, emotional and spiritual pain has been and will be an intrinsic part of the human experience.

1 Peter 3:14

For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him

God permits His faithful children to suffer so eventually we might by His grace, be more like Christ. God uses trials along with delightful experiences to make us like His Son, Jesus. Sometimes God allows trials when we tend to go astray from Him.

Through suffering God makes us spiritually mature and strong. God cuts away some of the rough, jagged edges so we learn to depend on Him and to reflect Him in our daily living. God might sometimes purify us in fiery furnace either to chastise us or to refine and purify us further to live deeper and more meaningful life in Him and for Him. Iron can be forged, shaped or moulded only in hot furnace to temperature at least not less than 900 degree centingrade.

Many do not realise that *George Fredrick Handel,* the great music composer, suffered much pain and privation. At the very height of his musical career he became seriously ill. This was a devastating blow.

He also simultaneously encountered financial reverses to the point that there was no way out. Following these crushing moments and experiences, Handel wrote that great masterpiece, Messiah which includes the thrilling "Hallelujah Chorus" that overflows with triumph and blessing. This was composed by him way back in 1741 complied from KJV Bible and was first performed un Dublin on 13 April, 1742. It is mostly performed since then during Christmas time. Its performed every year all over the globe and also at our St. Thomas SPG Church, Secunderabad, Telengana, India.

Many of the inspiring hymns and gospel songs like Blessed Assurance, What a Freinds we ha ve in Jesus, Safe in the arms of Jesus, Pass me not O Gentle Saviour... and several other we sing today were written by men and women whose hopes and plans were dashed and crushed, and God stepped in to make these bitter things work together for better for His glory.

Topic: Joy And Happiness! Which One You Possess? A True Self Introspection.

Happiness can be purchased by money, but not joy. We usually hear two words in this world - "Joy & Happiness." And many think both more or less have the same meaning. But it's not so.

Happiness depends on the happiness in this world and it's exterior. When you get a pramotion, purchase a new car, a new house there is happiness. This Happiness is there with everyone irrespective of any religion or caste and not just Christians.

Joy comes from within who is a child of God having a relationship with Christ as a Saviour and Friend. To be more clear, for those who sincerely repented of their sins and received Jesus into their hearts.

Such joy is seen in people who experience that salvation and who can enjoy the presence of God in them. We cannot buy it as I said, its given to us freely by God's grace.

Whether we have our worldly needs fulfilled or not the living Christ within us will give us this joy.

Eg. If you seriously sick, still you can have the joy. If you lost a good job, you still can have joy, if you keep losing in the interviews, you still can have the Joy. You being His child, you will still have joy and the cup of sorrow passes away and glorious hope will be within.

Lets take the typical example of Habakkuk.

Let us read Hab. 3 17 & 18:

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

Although everything in the life of Habakkuk's external world is not at all good, yet he is leaping for Joy in praise to God. He is affirming the Word from Neh. 8:10, "The joy of the Lord God is my strength."

Happiness can be stolen and is always temporary. But Joy cannot be stolen being a child of the Lord and its permanent till we leave this temporal world.

Thank you lord for helping us to know about happiness and joy. Even when we are sick, even we are not having a good job, thank you Lord, we still can experience that joy which is deep within which is visible and share this with this joyless and peaceless world. Amen.

Prov. 10:4. Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.

Prov. 12: 24. The hands of the diligent will rule.

Laziness has no place in the character of a follower of Christ. And also in this competitive world, where there is cut throat competition between person to person and between an organisation to organisation. Need to be on toes, alert, disciplined and hardworking.

Three years back we shifted our residence to our own home at Old Alwal......

There is no place for anyone to relax. Value added work and value engineering is the need of the times.

I was working for a Pharmaceutical coy as DGM Purchase. I was fascinated by our C& M.D who was always on toes.

He used to shuffle from Production plant to Corporate office at least twice a day. Moment he comes to office he will have a meeting with Sr. Mngt.......

Hard work, smart work, discipline and sincere work will always carry God's blessings on anyone and no one can halt your success.

In life, we can never be on a roller coaster and think, this is fun, I will be here forever. Need to be on toes and be alert. Otherwise we too meet the same fate like the "hotel management" which was not geared up... "The best things end, and so do the worst things."

Eccl. 11:4. Whoever watches the wind will not plant. Whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.

Heb 13:11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Luke 12:35:

Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning.

While working hard, shedding laziness and slothfulness, let us believe the word from Phil 4 :13. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Topic: Religious Bible Reading. Head - Bible Truths Will Lead To Defeat And Fear.

The Bible is a book full of spiritual riches that can make us wise unto salvation, train us to live godly lives, and equip us for a bright successful future (2 Timothy 3:14-17). It is also the world’s all-time bestseller–and the best-selling book in every year that sales have been recorded.

But still many Christians have their heads stored full of creed and scriptures, have the ability to share too, and yet wen trouble comes or storms arise, every scripture disappears and there is not one truth on which they can really lean or trust . Piles of doctrines all over, but no rod or staff to lean on in weakness.

Lamps hung away in great clusters, but not one of them burning when it's needed. Not one of them burning to throw light upon their own darkness.

Mostly people tend to read the Word religiously - like a must, but not eager to know the oracles of God. As long as we read the Word of God religiously daily without really enjoying and meditating it, when storms arise, and setbacks buffet us, there will be no back up power of Christ in us and so, we will be swept away by trials, storms, sickness and anxieties of life.

Word says in

Ps. 119:105, "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and light unto my path. We read this but yet, we dont understand it's significance.

We need to learn scriptures for ourselves before we share with others. And hide it deep within our hearts so as to protect and shield ourselves from sin and trials. Word of God must not just reach head, but must reach to the depth of our hearts so that the Word becomes our shield, our strength, our strong tower, our refuge, our fortress and our Shepherd.

Prepare our hearts to not just read the Word like reading any other book, but to dig deep into the mysteries, revelations and be guided and protected by thy Word.

Topic : Blessings For Those Who Have The Fear Of The Lord.

When Bible speaks of fear of God, it does not mean to be afraid of God, but to give reverence to Him in obedience as He is holy.

The wonderful gift from God has brought joy and gladness into the lives of several God's children who had the fear of the Lord.

The fear of the Lord is so crucial in our lives, Solomon emphasis its importance in Prov. 1:7. Fear of the Lord is the begining of knowledge.

Here are also some unique blessings for those who fear the Lord.

1.

There is *no lack* to them who fear the Lord. Ps 34: 9. There is no lack or no want to those that fear Him

1. *It Protects And Delivers us from all harm, evil, sin and danger.*

Ps 34:7.The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and delivers them.

2. *Showers His Mercies.* Mercies of the Lord are always upon them that fear Him.

Ps 103 : 17. Mercies of the Lord are from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him and not on everyone.

Ps 11: 11: For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great us His mercy towards them that fear Him. And not on everyone.

Luke 1: 50.

And His mercy is upon those who fear Hom from generation to generation.

How true it is... If we observe godly parents, godly saints who fear God and give reverence to Him in obedience, they also show the same respect and reverence and conduct themselves well and decent in the society. Such people, their generation and generations are blessed.

3. *Gives us strong confidence and faith.* Prov. 14: 26. In the Fear of God one has strong Confidence and his children will have refuge.

These blessings do not come to us, if we just preach, pray good and be busy in Christian activities without the fear of God.

If we keep on sinning and holding on to our sins, we cannot expect the Lord's hand to protect us nor to show mercy. It will neither give us the resurgence in faith. Only when we repent and live a life with reverence and fear of God, we enjoy these things and our generations will be blessed.

The Refreshing phase In - young 20 year old rising tennis star Carlos Alcaraz conquering the trio giants / legends of tennis - Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and in the latest Wimbledon final, Novak Djokovic.

The 20 year old has already become world No. one. And on 9th July, he defeated Djokovic in the Wimbledon finals bringing in a generation change in the tennis sport.

In the last two decades from Wimbledon 2003 to French open 2023, the trio of Roger, Rafel and Djokovic have swept 65 of 79 grand slam tournaments.

The young rising star has raised the bar of his own game instead of getting shivers seeing these formidable players.

His discipline, his determination, will power, confidence and attitude to win has made him the World number one at such a young age.

Carlos Alcaraz showed that nothing is impossible when we have the desire and determination to excel. He is the great example for youngsters who desire to excel. Hardly 20 years of age he is already the world number one player.

Perserverance, faith or can say confidence in yourself against all odds is the key to come up in life.

We see in the bible in Numbers 13th chapter, 12 men, one from each tribe were selected by Moses to spy the land of Canaan. Num. 13: 2, 27 to 33. They went, saw and came back with the fruit of the land. But they said, though the land truly flows with milk and honey, people who dwell in the land are strong and cities are fortified. We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we. We saw these enemies as giants and we are like grasshoppers.."

Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, "Let us go and take possession of the land, for we are well able to conquer them."

Those who spied earlier, rebelled and refused to go, died in the wilderness. The rest alongwith Joshua and Caleb entered Canaan promised land.....

If we are fearful, we we will be defeated in life like those men of Israel. But if we are determined and have faith and hard work, we will be successful like the young Carlos and men of faith, like Joshua and Caleb.

Help us to have have faith, hard work and confidence to fulfil our vision and goals in our spiritual and personal lives. In Jesus ....
