The University commencement speaker chosen, has been the president of a large corporation. He was chosen for the occasion because of his success. Yet his speech came with a most unusual wish for the graduates.

The speaker told the students sitting before him in the graduate gowns, "If I could have one hope for you as you go out into the world is this. I hope you fail. Yes, fail at something that is important to you." He went on to say how his own life has been one failure after another, until he learned to see failure as an effective teacher.

Many of the songs in Psalms were born in the season of failure. Sometimes we fail to really to see the wonder of God's wisdom and strength until we grasp for breath in the exhaustion of our own strength and energy.

No doubt, we will be disappointed if we fail. But we will be doomed if we do not attempt because of fear of failure.

Recuring stories of the bible is that mountains of faith rise from the valleys of failure.

Every start is thrilling, but how we end is most important. Many start off well, but end poorly or give up...

Statistics say around 85 to 90% in the world give up their pursuit In the middle...

The end of a thing is better than it's beginning. - Eccl. 7 : 8.

Be it studies, competitive exams, pursuing good job, preparing for interviews, marriage, or in spiritual walk with Christ, discipline, determination and perseverance is the key to end well and be successful.

There are approximately 100 biographies in the Bible, and of those, only 30-35% of the people finished well. Why does it happen? To answer that question, we need to understand what it means to not finish well. There can be so many characteristics in our lives which do not allow us to end strongly but either give up - losing.

Out of them here are few characteristics explained as why people don't finish well. It can be many of these or a combination of these traits describes that they are not going to finish off well....

Remember Enoch, Caleb, Ruth, Hannah at the end of their Lives? They finished well!

Out of so many, here are fifteen characteristics listed which do not allow us to Finish Well:

Lost your first love for God.

So, You have lost your spiritual passion for the things of God.

3.

You are completely backslidden and away from God.

4.

You are resentful toward those who hurt or betrayed you.

5.

You are neither learning nor growing spiritually.

6.

You no longer share your faith with fellow Christians or of other faiths.

7.

You are cynical and critical about church pastors' and God's servants.

8.

You are – no longer growing

9.

You are isolated and become unaccountable in your walk with God.

10.

You have hidden sins and habits that grip your life as a slave.

It has been years since you led someone to faith in Christ. Irony is many never led anyone to Christ but still act self righteous.

Your passion and desire to pray for leaders, your fellow believers and others dipped low.

Loss of stomach to fight spiritual battles.

No faith for the impossible to happen.

1 Thes. 5:18.

Word of God further says in Rom 8 : 28, "ALL things work together for good to them that love God." All things here include sorrows as well as joy can work together for good. Adversity as well as prosperity; sickness as well as health; trials as well as triumphs. All these things work for good and not just the good things in life.

Most of the Christians when they undergo some unpleasant situations such as sudden job loss, or diagnosis of some sickness/ailment, sudden loss of loved ones, friendship or relationship broken, immediately they come to a conclusion with questions such as "Why Me Lord?" Why it has to happen to me only when we are faithful? When pain, suffering and adversity strikes, how we act and react shows what really we are...

If we think we are faithful and trustworthy, it's not enough, but the Lord Himself has to testify that we are indeed trustworthy to carry His name and work..

Moreover, we must know that God never makes mistake.. His ways and thoughts are different from us..

We can understand His ways, sometimes only after we leave this world and be with Him.

Therefore, we are to thank the Lord for pain as well as for pleasure. For good health as well as for sickness.

Topic: Blessings! Blessings On The One Who Trusts In The Lord And On The One Follows Godly People.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord. And whose hope is in the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But her leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from bearing fruit.”

Man has two great spiritual needs. One is for forgiveness and the other is for guidance. God met our need for forgiveness at Calvary. He sent His only Son into the world to die for our sins, that we might be forgiven. And this gift of God’s salvation is for everyone who truly admits he has sinned, repents and turns to God by receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

God also blesses another set of people.

Those Who Do Not Associate With Corrupt And Wicked People Who Always Have Wicked Thoughts Within.

Ps 01: Blessed is the man that walketh not, sitteth not nor standeth with the wicked.

Walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly. We see sooo many young people follow and listen to the ungodly and wordly people advise and persish.

Nor sits in the counsel of the ungodly. Ungoldly counsel diverts and destroys thousands. One ungodly temptation by a wicked friend leads to addiction of sin and trap of devil. They will be destroyed like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Let us see how it refreshes those who follow wise people and wise counsel.

Ps. 1, 3rd verse. The godly shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither. And whatsoever he doeth, let us see the mystery of the Word, *whatsoever he or she doeth* SHALL PROSPER.

The Lord knows the way of the righteous. But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Gracious Lord, help us to move away from wicked and corrupt people. You know us through and through like how we can see in a mirror. Our strengths our good works and our shortcomings are clearly before you. We can never escape from your Omnipresent surveillance. In order to be truly blessed, to be truly fruitful by others to see us, remove our deep rooted wicked thoughts, wicked habits and sins, as we truly repent of those to inherit true success and joy. ...

And Every Disclosure Of Heavenly Existence that is made to use, shows us life without one trace of selfishness, earnestly devoted to the service of others. Angels' life is very pure, holy and blessed, and yet these celestial beings find their employment in serving others and sharing mostly the good news. It is their joy to minister and not to be ministered unto.

Event the coming of Son of Man and His mission was described in His own words, "The Son of Man came not to be ministered unto but to minister" In serving is therefore the most exalted, the divine thought of life.

Topic :Joy And Happiness. What Is Joy? What Is Happiness? Joy Is Deeprooted, Lasting And Comes From Experience With The Creator Himself.

Ps 32 11:

Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

If you buy a big house, are you not happy? Are your children not happy? After few years that happiness disaapears instantly replacing it new problems.

If A tech. guy buys a latest Apple MacBook Air 13 gold laptop model or HP ZBook Firfly 16 G9.model ... are you not happy.? Certainly all those who purchased and their families are very happy. But as the years go by it starts becoming old and almost becomes obsolete in the market. All your happiness drains away. Thats happiness.

Its up sometimes when it is good news and down when when calamity strikes. Some people drink alchohol as an entertainment to get happiness and some to drive sway depression. When they are at the peak their momentory happiness is at peak and depression sounds low But once the power of liquor is down, along with it goes down the happiness and depression is again back.

But, when we say truly, we have tasted and experienced the love of Christ, even when we are suddenly encountered with sudden severe adversities of life Joy would never be disturbed. Because of a true experience and a true encounter we had with Jesus.

Followers of Christ understand and experience that, joy and happiness are not the same. Happiness is the feeling we get when things are going well; But when someone suddenly falls sick you lose your happiness. It disappears. It’s based on our circumstances

Joy is something you cannot explain but it can be experienced in a special way. . Joy, on the other hand, is a deep sense of pleasure, delight, gladness and well-being that is independent of circumstance. Joy flows from a deeply rooted conviction that not only does God cause all

things to work together for the good of those who love Him; *but inherent in joy is the sense of delight in God that can cause our heart to smile even if things on the outside seem to be falling apart.*

Lord help us to exoerireince on a day to day basis your love and our relationship with you so that we can smile joyously in this transient world. Amen.

Topic: Storms! There Will Be No Revelation Of Gift Operating When Storms Rise. They Come All Of A Sudden.

Arise even when we are in plain line of duty, even when we are faithful. Even when Christ is with us, storms do arise...

Matt. 08:23 to 26. And suddenly there arose a great tempest on the see so that the boat was covered with the waves.

The disciples had not put out to sea of their own suggestions. Jesus was in the boat and was sleeping. The lessons we learn here is storms arise even when we are in our plain routine line of duty and when Christ is with us. Jesus never said that we will not have storms, but He will be with us and lead us out to greener pastures when we don't give up.

So, we should not be discouraged by the difficulty or the trouble or by the fiery storm that buffets us and conclude that we are in wrong path. Word of God says, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous.."

So, we see Christ's presence with his disciples does not keep the storms away. There are no promises in the Bible that God's chosen people shall not have storms.

There are sudden storms of temptation and trials which sweep down with sudden and terrific power from the cold mountain of this world. There are storms of sickness, of disappointment and disillusionment, storms of adversities, of sorrow and grief that makes the waves and bellows to roll over the soul. Thus many of the life storms come suddenly. We all need to be geared up as we do not have any revelation gift operating. They do not hang out any danger signals for us to foresee. The hopes cherished for years wither in our hands in a night. If, we are God's children we have a hope that "for every storm Jesus gives us a silver lining." He gives us a hope beyond hope which no religeon can give. Only crucified an risen christ alone can gives us.

Topic : The Come Back From A Fall Or Failure Is Much Greater Than To stay In The Defeated Zone.

Defeat and failure sets in a dull and disappointing atmosphere. We have seen many could not cope with failure when results came out and many students succumbed to suicides.

If you asked Peter how strong his faith was, he would have said 10 out of 10. He spent the past three years of his life with Jesus. Peter was confident in his ability to stick with Jesus in the darkest of situations, even prison or death.

But when it came down to a moment of testing, Peter wasn’t so sure. When his connection to Jesus nearly got him arrested, Peter distanced himself and wasn’t so confident anymore.

Darkness causes our faith to waver.

We think we can make it through a dark time without God, like when someone in our family gets sick or finances fall apart children fall from our expectations be it in studies, job or developing good values. Maybe we believe we’re too good of a person to ever turn our back on Jesus. Yet as soon as we enter an unexpected challenge, our own strength isn’t so unshakeable.

If we’ve failed God, does He still care about us? If it seems like God has failed us, does He still care?

Jesus knows what it’s like in the darkness.

He went through the darkness to pay for our sins that separated us from Him. God doesn’t hold our mistakes against us; He frees us from the guilt they cause.

When we go through times that shake our faith, we see how great God really is and what He really means to us. We learn the depth of His forgiveness and compassion when we fail again and again.

God doesn’t give up on us when we’ve given up on Him.

Let us do... Keep working hard with hard work and discipline and keep declaring these divine words of victory assurance and strength.

Is 54 17: No weapon that is formed against me shall prosper.

If God is with me no power can stand against me.

I can do all things thought christ who strengthens me. Philip 4 13.
