And praise the Lord God Almighty for His innumerable blessings He has showered upon all of us, inspite of our shortcomings and failures. I thank each and everyone who supported us in the daily devotionals which I was able to carry on in the year, 2021.

I also thank those of you for your encouraging comments, for your suggestions and for being an ardent listener of these devotionals. It's being done to bring glory to God, to encourage, and to enlarge and make an impact to the kingdom of God!!

In this new year, 2022, "May the good Lord bless thee, and keep thee; May the Lord make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; And may the Lord lift up His countenance upon thee, And give thee peace."

If, if we truly desire to love Him, truly with all our hearts, if we truly repent of all our sins and failures to the Lord, and pledge to the Lord Almighty, there is not an iota of doubt that this new year will be fruitful, joyful, victorious and prosperous too.

So, let us revive, reignite, resurrender rejoice and be resurgent to love the Lord Fully, Obey the Lord's Word completely, (and not in bits and pieces) and yield to Him as a living sacrifice. And then, claim these blessings which, then become our birthright. Because we are His faithful children. Lets us claim these promises in faith..

Isia 43:19. I will do a New thing; Now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it, do you not see it, fo you not perceive it, are you not aware of it. I will make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.

In this new year, no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper.

Isia. 54:17.

The time is set based on the birth of Christ. Any God that is mentioned in this Universe, their date of birth has to be based on "birth and death of Christ." Let us claim based on the divine universal truth, the Word of God which never failed nor will it fail.

Praise raises us from the depths of despair to the pinnacle of glory, power, healing and deliverance from all oppression and depression.

Are you discouraged this morning because of some setbacks in your life? Lost someone dear to you!.. Do you feel rejected and unwanted?? Is sickness taking toll on your health?? Do you have unspoken problems??

Well, the divine and living Word of God is the only answer for all our problems.

Word of God says in.

1Thes. 05:18. Give thanks in all circumstances. For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus!!

In Ps. 34:01, "I will bless the Lord at all times. (Good and bad times). His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Amen!

Well, Praise replaces doubts and anxieties with faith and victory.

As we prepare ourselves this morning, let us worship and praise the living Lord.

There are several blessings to us when we praise n thank God by way of singing n praising.....

Topic: Yet In All These Things We Are More Than Conquerors Through Christ Jesus who loved us. - Rom. 08:37.

To conquer means "to defeat; to beat; to trounce; to annihilate; to be victorious; to overcome; to overpower; to subdue; to crush.

As Long As We Walk In Line With The Word Of God, No Circumstances Nor Storms Can Derail Us.

It is also a step towards becoming a conqueror, because a conqueror is someone who has the ability to overcome, surmount, and defeat any challenge placed before them. The minute you decide and commit to continuous growth, towards continuous becoming, is the moment you align yourself amongst the greats. And it can happen when we strive towards it knowing that we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus.

But to be more than conquerors means, we not only have victory over satan and it's demonic powers, but we will overhelmingly be victorious because of the risen power of Christ within us.

"Faith produces brightest moments in darkest hours." And "Doubt creates darkest moments even in finest hours."

Let us claim few divine promises for our deliverence to all sicknesses and all traps of witchcraft and evil forces., for our restoration and His divine favours.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I am the Lord who healeth thee. By your stripes we are healed. Both physically, mentally and spiritually.

Topic : Most Of Us Give Less Heed To The Door Of Our Lips. We let The Words Fly From Our Lips As The leaves Fly When The Autumn Winds Blow...

One of the greatest prayers of King David for safekeeping from wickedness in Ps. 141. He pleads or rather implores the Lord asking the Lord to hasten to hear His cry. He talks about his hands, his mouth, his lips and his heart to be protected and preserved from evil. There are ten verses. Every word and every verse has great indepth inspirational gems of truth. For today let us read from 01 to 05.

Lord, I cry out to you; make haste to me. Give ear to my voice when I cry out to you.

Let my prayer be set before you as an incense. The lifting up of my hands as an evening sacrifice.

Set a gaurd oh lord over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips.

Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men who work iniquity.

For today, let us focus on the third verse of this Psalm.

No prayer should be often spoken by us than that of David in this Psalms, Ps. 141 :03, "Set a watch, oh Lord before, before my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips."

There is nothing in all our life to which most of us give less heed than to our words. We let them fly from our lips as the leaves fly from the trees when the autumn winds blow. Many people seem to think that words scarcely have a moral character. We watch our acts, our conduct but give full license to out tongues. And often times we fall prey to this tongue and spoil our testimony. A true Christian should have a Christian tongue. You may wonder "What is a Christian tongue? A Christ tongue is Christ like - which edifies others, which encourages others, which comforts, builds others with their words.

As we all have experienced, words have terrific power for harm if they are are wrong words - harsh, cruel and grievous. And words have immortal power for good and blessedness if they are kind gentle, patient, considerate. We can observe in many homes, tongue has wrecked the relationships between husband and wife, between parents and children. Every small conversation becomes a war in many homes. And it's unfortunately their conversations turn so sour and bitter causing so much grief and sorrow, it will be greater than the great fires raging. 🔥. Peace is shattered into pieces.

Often times we use freely out 👅 tongue uttering whatever comes out. How many times we have hurt an individual and how many people in this world we have hurt and grieved them in this we ourselves know.

The Lord gave His best, His son Jesus Christ to us. If we received Him and allowed Him to grow in our lives, that is real Christmas.

When we truly believe in the birth, death and resurrected power of Christ which destroyed sin, satan and dark forces on the cross, And confess and truly repent of our sins. And allow Christ to grow in our lives, steadily in His love and forgiveness, that becomes true Christ centred Christmas!

Topic : Don't Give Up Amidst Setbacks And Failures. John Mark - From Spiritual Relapse And Discouragement Rose To The Pinnacle Of Glory And Success.

Apostle Paul writing to Timothy in 2 Tim. 4:11.

Only Luke is with me. Get John Mark and bring him with you, because he is helpful to me in my ministry.

Though we fall, we fail and get defeated, God gives us several opportunities to rise, get a worthy name and be successful. Though many encounter failures and setbacks, few make a strong comeback and become highly successful be it in their studies, jobs, business, family life and in their spiritual lives too!

We recall the renowned scientist, Thomas Alwa Edison who has performed 1000s of experiments which failed. But, he did not look back neither did he give up. He learned through those failures and invented electric bulb and perfected it in October, 21st, 1879 for the world to enjoy light in the nights.

Yesterday we had the devotion wherein Paul refused to take with them John Mark in the mission work as John left them abruptly in their earlier mission work. And Paul felt John was "good for nothing" and not worth taking him.

And we know that Barnabas encouraged him and took him.

Now, John Mark worked so passionately and with sincere dedication and hard work, he soon got a very good name in the mission field. The news spread so much so, apostle Paul who initially refused to entertain to take John, now is requesting the mission team to send John Mark and feels he will be much useful to him in his ministry.

John Mark stands out on the pages of the New Testament as a great character - but from that position of spiritual relapse he “turned again” and was a most useful servant of the Lord and one whose ministry the apostle Paul valued tremendously (2 Timothy 4:11). In addition, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he wrote the Gospel of Mark one of the synoptic gospels along with the gospel of Matthew and Luke. which bears his name (2 Timothy 3:16).

Nothing comes easy in life. We need to count the cost. With passion, discipline and dedication to rise from repeated failures to conquer the focused frontieres.

Our Attitude, Discipline And Will Power, And Not Our Aptitude Will Determine Our Altitude."

Zig Ziglar, an American author and a motivational speaker, once said, “Your attitude, and not your aptitude, will determine your altitude,” which throws light on the importance of having the right attitude towards life. 

 

A familiar proverb since early 1800th century says, "Where there is a will, there is a way."

It is true that if we have the necessary skills but lack the positive attitude in life, we will not go far. 

 

Attitude refers to our thinking and our outlook towards life. Some people are pessimistic and when they fail at tasks, they lose hope and give up, whereas others are optimistic, and even when there are obstacles and challenges in life, they do not give up easily. 

 

To succeed in life, we need to be determined to reach our goals, despite the setbacks we may face along the way.

 

Skills and knowledge are important no doubt, but they can be acquired with time; however, attitude is something that is inherent in an individual and it is comparatively difficult to change with time.

Topic : Mark The Blameless Man, And Observe The Upright; For The Future Of That Man Is Peace. - PS. 37: 37, 38.

Don't meddle with a fool; he will disturb your peace. Do not correct or advise a scoffer, lest he will hate you. He who rebukes a wicked man only harms himself. Do not throw jewels or diamonds to the pigs, for they do not know its value. But give it to the wiseman; for he shall treasure it and will be grateful.

He who corrects a scoffer gets shame for himself. "Only a fool fools with sin."

Rebuke a wise man, and he will love you. Give instruction to the wise man and he will still be wiser. Prov. 09: 07 to 09.

Any fool can start a quarrel. Prov. 20:03.

Deceptions, twists and outright lies define the words of fools. The name of the wicked will rot. Prov. 10:07.

He who hates correction is stupid. Prov. 12:01.

There is always a choice in this life. Live a God's way and enjoy His smile of approval or live as a fool and find destruction. That's the tough and tender truth about living in God's Word.
