The lord God never means harm to our lives when He allows affliction to us. Our disappointments are God's appointments, and brings rich compensation, if only we do not faint...

Topic: During Advent Season, Are We Drawing Closer To The Lord Or Moving Away With Our Own Carnal Desires?

Mark 05: 17. They began to pray for Jesus to depart. In James version it says" They began to plead Jesus to move away from them."

Here Jesus delivered a person from an unclean spirit who was living in the tomb crying out and cutting himself with stones. No one could bind him, not even with chains. Jesus delivered him and sent the unclean spirit into the herd of swine who went and drowned into the sea. And so they began to plead Jesus to move away from their region.

*This is one of the saddest sentences in the Gospels.* We can scarcely conceive of any person asking Jesus to go away. Some people feel blessed n joyful to have Jesus in their lives. They have the real joy and meaning in life.

For some, it's indeed a costly affair. Like today's Word in the Bible consciously or unconsciously they are not comfortable to have Jesus in their lives because they are bound with the chains and strings of the worldly attachments, pleasures and desires and self centred lives. So, the Lord does not interfere with our cherished self centred plans and desires. Jesus did not stay after after they asked Him to go. He would never stay where He is not wanted. He will carry back His presence from there. And hence sadly we see many desire to keep Jesus away for their own selfish ends.

Praise God! There are many who take advent season seriously for introspection, to shun and trim away selfishness, jealousy, pride, hatred, anger, self possessiveness replacing with unselfishness, love, humility, patience, gentleness, blessing others, praying for others and loving others unconditionally - those who despise, hate, hurt and harm us.

Topic: If The Work That We Do Is In Accordance With His Will, It Will Continue And Become Fruitful. It's His Faithfulness Alone And Not Our Abilities.

I praise God for His faithfulness to carry on this daily devotion The purpose of this devotion is - to encourage, to strengthen, to edify and bring children of God to closer walk with Christ. It's been a long journey. Initially it started with text devotion on 9th feb., 2017 sharing to one group, to my family - my siblings and our families.

From text devotions it's been upgraded to audio devotion from 12.12.2018. And exactly last year this day, 2020 from audio devotion to video and displayed in You Tube. I never did anything. It's those who were blessed helped it to go from text, to audio, and then to Video to be displayed in You Tube.

One of the ardent reader of text devotions, is Bro. M.T. Raju sir, a post graduate teacher in K.V, Begumpet, colleague of my wife. He used to give his feedback as how the text devotions he used to receive were a blessing. He is a very devout and God fearing person. Known for his teaching abilities and dedication. He desired and requested me to try audio instead of texts devotion. After sending few samples, He was led by the Lord to suggest to go for audio devotions. And thus started audio devotions on 12.12.18.

And now devotions are sent to 14 different groups globally. It's possible because of His grace alone and my mentors who encourage me. And the feedback from grateful viewers..

Last year since June, 2020 one of my friend, Bro. Victor has been sending his feedback that the audio devotions are really a blessing to him.

In November last year, 2020, one fine day he converted the audio devotion to video and uploaded it in "You Tube." Based on the Lord's leading he wanted to do this video daily and upload it. Devotions on 'You Tube' started exactly last year on this day. December, 1st, 2020.

Praise God for all those Bro. Raju sir and my friend who does all the editing and in preparing the link for You Tube.

It's time to thank and praise God for His goodness.

I am so very thankful, incredibly grateful and unbelievably blessed by His grace and encouragement of God's children who are being blessed and take the devotion on a higher plane for His glory.

Ps. 142:02 & 3. While I live I praise the Lord. And I will praise your name forever and ever. ...And His greatness is unsearchable.

Praise is an indispensable preparation for the worship that will be our eternal joy. The heart filled with praise brings pleasure to God, and joy, peace and strength to the fainting n weak hearts. Manifestation of His majestic power, healing and deliverance takes place when we praise and worship God. Praise enables us to tune our lives to heavenly harmonies.

But, the question is - Are we eagerly awaiting our participation in symphony of heavenly Praise daily?? Are we joyfully participating in the adoration and praise that delights the heart of God and exalts Him?? Or do we regard it more as a routine and a ritual monotonous one?? Holiest person who is in tune to walk in obedience to God's Word can worship at his/her best. True worship gives true joy and blessedness.

Topic : Are We "Fret Machines" That We Are Visibly Anxious Of Everything In Life? Are We Tired And Lifeless sometimes?? Is Christ Born For Us To Be Like This?🤤

1 Peter 05:07. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

All the activities we carry out during this advent without cleansing the heart or without change of heart and without change of priorities towards Christ will make this advent season and Christmas another ritualistic routine one which goes off like a 'soda bottle experience.'

Advent time is the time to rejoice and experience His presence and His power. And not be anxious of any situation that comes in our lives. This happens when we truly have a repentant heart.

Overwhelmed by suffering and persecution the first century Christians were driven out of Jerusalem and scattered throughout Asia. Many of these Jesus Christ followers were feeling distressed and possible danger for their lives. Peter stood for them and encouraged the believers not to be filled with anxiety but to cast all their worries upon their God.

Are we chronic worriers?? Do we worry about the pending unpaid bills, heavy debts, uncertainty of life, failing health and anxiety, anxiety because of broken home, broken friendship, or broken relationship, anxiety over job settlement, anxiety over marriage settlement in families, broken dreams, list goes on...

We are so much consumed with these worries and uncertainties of life we become often like *'fret machines'."* Are we tired and lifeless sometimes??🤤

Let us allow God to be responsible for all our anxieties.

As we keep the Word of God in our heart and keep rejoicing and praising God, there can be no power who can steal our joy, peace, meaning and purpose in life. Let us start this advent time enjoying every God given moments and time....😐.

The word Advent comes from the Latin verb 'venio' - to come and 'advenio' - to come towards. Advent is the time to celebrate both past and the future.

Isia 7:14

Behold! A Virgin shall conceive and bare a son, and shall call His name Emmanuel.

Emmanuel, is one of the names we use for God often at this time of year. What It means, as we all know, 'God-with-Us'. It conveys a sense of omnipresence of the divine, and that we find evidence of the presence everywhere and anywhere we look for it.

There are times when we find it hard to trust God to look after us.

There are times when we think our situation is so bad there’s no way out. There are other times when we think we know the best solution to our problems, and so we don’t bother to ask God for help till we land into unresolvable problems. Problems of hurricane proportion. All the three statements we might have experienced in life one time or the other..

How we experience it depends solely on individual relationship with Emmanuel, the Lord God......

In this world we observe though they have everything, and yet they feel empty void and lonely.

Only and only when we and the world gets truly connected to this Emmanuel, 'God with us', which has been prophesied 2000 years back, we can experience the true omnipresent divine Lord God Almighty's presence.

Topic : Arduous Search For Peace Ends Here - Jesus Christ, The Prince Of Peace!

Let us listen to the prophecy of Isia in 9:6. "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

Young people, elderly, celebrities and the world all over is in quest for peace. To find meaning and purpose, rest from the stress and anxieties the world experimented with the pleasures of the world and sin. Their arduous search for peace eluded them.

Lot of people including the wealthy and celebrities are searching for peace. In a world filled with stress and anxieties, though they have wealth, fame and power, they are looking for rest. Mental rest. Wealth cannot give security, fame and power cannot give us security.

Peace is not found in any place. Peace is not found in any treaty or ban on guns. Peace is only found in a person. That person is the Lord Jesus Christ who was born to die for our sins, but rose again defeating satan on the cross and conquering sin. He is the Prince of Peace, literally the captain and ruler of the peace. This peace we get only when we truly believe in receiving that person into our lives acknowledging He died for our sins, buried and rose again...

Let us read from the divine Word of God. John 14:27, Jesus told His disciples, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. I do not give to you as the world gives. So, do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Philip. 4:6 says, "Do not be anxious of anything; but in everything with prayer and supplication the requests be made. And the peace of God which passeth all understanding rule our hearts and minds. "

That's the real peace, and that's the kind of peace to all who follow Him. It's not the absence of turmoil, but the tranquility in the midst of turmoil.
