Never Give Up Prayer Even Amidst Painful And Difficult Times.

Promise And Prayer go together. There are numerous promises in the Bible on restoration, strength, comfort, hope, Joy over depression, peace over dejection, hope over anxious and dreadful moments, for deliverance and healing. And over worry, stress and the list goes on. For everything we need there are promises in His divine Word. But, yet they are not fulfilled. And we feel void, empty and fearful... But, when God has promised anything to us, working hard on it we can go to him and ask Him to do based on the promises in the divine Word and in His divine will.

But, then, why ask when He has promised?? Asking shows faith. Asking releases faith and confidence. Asking is the acceptance on our part of what God offers based on His promises.

Moreover Word of God is very clear in Mat. 07: 07 & 8 - "Ask and ye shall receive;

For everyone who asks receives. So, ask not, and he shall not receive." So, let us find a promise for what we want or any need or issue or adversity we face and ask boldly to our Heavenly Father.

Topic: Irrespective Of What God's Work Or Any Work You And I Do, A True Repentant Heart Without Any Hidden / Secret Sins Will Be A True Blessing To The World.

Often times we lose the presence of the Lord;

often times we lose the power of the Lord in our lives;

And many a times we lose the joy of the lord in our lives, because we do not do things which are pleasing to God. We do things which are not in line with the Word of God. We do things which are not the will and divine purpose of God in our lives, but take our own worldly decisions and regret later facing the consequences and bitterness in our lives, and sometimes shame and dishonour too in our lives. It's not God or satan which is the root cause for our sin and downfall, but, often times, we ourselves.

If we see the life of King David, he too made an intentional 'pleasurable sin' and lost the presence and power of the lord. And, the very joy of the Lord in his life.

But, as we know, he came back strongly to the Lord with a true heart of repentence. The prayer of repentence in Ps. 51: 10 to 12 verses. "Create in me a clean heart O Lord. And renew a right Spirit within me.." And David was never the same eversince he truly confessed his sin, but went from strength to strength.

Topic : Our Little Prayers To God Are Over -Answered. We Ask For Temporal Things; And He Gives Us Both, Temporal And Eternal.

Ps. 37:4. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

No true, faith-winged prayer goes unanswered, but many a prayer that seems to us unanswered is really over-answered. The very thing we ask God does not grant, because He is able to do something infinitely better for us. We ask for bodily help or relief, and He sees that we need far more some deep spiritual blessing. He answers our soul's needs before He gratifies our personal wishes. Otherwise we don't change!!

Jesus raised Lazarus from death. After Lazarus was raised, life, how he lived no one knows. Nothing is ever mentioned in the Bible. But, then, he died the 2nd time.

An alcoholic, on death bed, fearing death, gave an oath of not touching the wine. He gave his life after the counsel. God in His mercy healed him completely. But, he is back to his old habbit.

I always therefore emphasis ; True spiritual healing is 1000 times better than physical healing." Eternal life is secured.

So, we ask for a temporal ; He does not give it to us, but instead He bestows upon us a spiritual good that enriches us forever.

We ask for lifting away of a burden or sickness or averting of a sorrow; our plea is not granted in form, instead we receive the new impartation of the power of Christ, or an angel comes and ministers to us. Thus many times our little prayers are over-answered.

Lord often times we ask for little temporal things of this world, but you give us more than that which blesses our body and soul.

Topic: True Blessings Are Not In The Easy Paths! Easy Path W/O Any Struggles Lead To Failures And Disappointment.

There is always an easy path and a right path in everyone's life. What we choose we become. Enjoy comforts and easy going life now, later life will certainly be very hard to climb - an uphill task.

During the Japanese colonial rule over Korea, some people chose an easy, comfortable life, but some chose the right path and devoted their whole life to the struggle for their country's independence. According to their choices, they lived completely different lives and ended up with totally different outcomes; the former were branded as traitors, and the later were hailed as the Korean independent activists, with their names honored for future generations.

Similarly, there is an easy path and right path in our life of faith as well.

We are strongly tempted in these luxurious days, to seek out the easy ways in life. Naturally, we are not fond of bearing heavy burdens, of performing hard tasks, of making self denials. We prefer to be slothful, lazy and idle. Not many people die of overwork; more die of lack of excitement, boredom and dissatisfaction in life. Souls are withered too, by pleasure seeking and by excessive gratification of one's own appetites, desires or whims.

In shrinking from self denials called for in the path of duty we are missing the best things God has to give us.

There are always temptations at the crossroads of our lives to choose between the easy worldly path or right path. It's upto us to chose as these decisions either mar and destroy our lives or makes it fruitful and joyful.

Man's Love Is Conditional And Often Selfish.

1 Chronicle 16:34.

Gives thanks to the Lord, because His faithful love endures forever.

We all face different situations in our lives at various stages of our lives........

A true Christian who loves the Lord will never do such things. These people's love takes a new meaning in their lives. Its pure and harmless like dove - like the love of Christ. They are true ambassadors of Christ who may not get much benefit in this world, but richly rewarded in heaven.

Let us meditate now on the changeless love of Christ. It's refreshing, re- strenthening and reassuring. It's pure and harmless.

Most of us have times when we can say, "Oh I know that God loves me now;" but the feeling is transient, and soon passes away. Tomorrow we are doubting and fearing as before, and the joy has gone out of our heart. Does God's love , then, change? Did he love me yesterday, and does not love me today? Has the divine heart unclasped it's hold upon me? No! And Never! The love of God is changeless and eternal. Heaven and earth may pass away, but the kindness and the Love of the Lord shall never depart from any of His children. Let us not be anxious nor worried and try to grasp this truth.

Then, come what may, joy or sorrow, prosperity or adversity, we shall know always that the love of God abides unchanging - that we are held in it's clasp with a hold that never can be torn loose by any person or any enemy.

Often times, we experience mountain top experiences, and we also dive through the darkest nights and deep valley experiences. But, mostly God gives His revelations, vision and dreams during the nights/dark hours.

God often takes His children into chamber of pain and draws the curtains while He brings out the features of His divine own image.

When people say they are "spiritually dry", they usually mean they feel distant from God or struggling to grow spiritually. They don't see God working in their lives as the burdens of life press in, and they begin to feel discouraged. They search for God in a dry and parched land where there is no water.

Sometimes spiritual dryness can cause as I said due to sin. Sin can cause us to feel distant from God. Unconfessed hidden sins can cause us to lose joy associated with our salvation. Some people feel spiritually dry because of physical, mental or spiritual pain.

The nominal Christian life that costs nothing is not worthy of the name. There has to be self restraint, discipline and severe schooling. There must be struggle and the agonising effort. If we have to reach the goal, and win the prize, we must put every energy of life into the race or mission we carry. There must be sacrifice of indolence, self will and personal ease. Too much pampering spoils an earnest Christian.

Every noble life is a struggle from beginning to end. Only those who resist and fight and overcome are successful in life.

This is true in every sphere - in business, in study, in professional life and in spiritual life too!!

Profound evangelist who worked and toiled 18 hours in a day once said, "Nothing comes easy in life. Nothing. We need to pay the cost.

Sitting in an easy chair relaxing for hours together on social media and friends will take us only to mediocrity. And settle in ordinary job or position be it our professional or spiritual lives.

Are we resisting sin, overcoming temptation, living Victoriously in trials? If so, we can expect fruitfulness and success in our professional and spiritual lives. If not, we are not living worthily and thereby reap failures, disappointment and dejection. It's our own doing..

Mt. 5:16. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Mt. 5:13. You are the salt of the earth..

World needs nothing more than 'happiness - makers'. There is great deal of sadness, fear and depression everywhere. The Bible is the only Book in

the world meant to make people happy. Peace and joy rings all through it. The mission of the gospel is to give happiness. The angel's announcement of good tidings of great joy is going forth yet on every breeze.

The story of the love of Christ is - changing darkness to light, despair to hope, tears to laughter, sorrow to rejoicing, in all lands.

If you and I say, we are children of God, then we ought to be that open Bible. If we truly say we are the 'open Bible', a question to all of us - "Are we showing truly that love of Christ that changes the darkness and sadness in the lives of people to light?

Are we changing the despair, sorrow and anguish of people to hope and joy? Are we bringing people from tears of sorrow and hurt to tears of joy and healing? Is our life and lifestyle rekindling and replacing freshness of joy over grief and sorrow of others?"

If we are doing these things, then the world can see Christ in us. Our life itself becomes an open Bible.

Beloved, we are just sojourners. One profound evangelist once said, "Christians are the best actors, better than those who act in the film field.

Often times we express proffesed love, our very acts take others into intense darkness... We add more sorrow, more tears to already people who are aching with pain and misery. Everything that we do in this world will be uncovered one day before everyone. It can be only two. Either Glory or Shame and dishonour.

So, It is the mission of every Christian to be a 'happiness maker'. Each one of us as God's children have the power to add something at least to the world's gladness.

We can do this in a thousand ways, by being joyful ourselves, making our lives a sweet song, by telling others the joyful things of the Word of God. It's the key to true happiness and peace - by adding kindness to all we meet, by comforting the sorrowful and disheartened, lifting burdens away, cheering sadness and weariness and scattering blessings wherever we go.
