Topic : Peter's Three Times Denial.😨 . We Too Make Many Promises But Fail To Keep Up The Resolutions Like Peter.

Matt . 26 : 70. Peter denied before all of them that he never knew Christ.

One thing that made Peter's denial so peculiarly sad was that he received so many marks of special favour from Christ. He was one of the three disciples who had been taken into the inner circle of friendship.

Another thing was that Peter had so boldly confessed to Christ. When Jesus asked the disciples whom they believed Him to be, it was Simon Peter who said, "Thou art the Christ, Son of the Living God."

It was he who, just few hours before his denial, so vehemently vowed his loyalty and his readiness to die with the Lord.

These repeated protestations of fidelity made the evil of denial more grievous.

Anything that made sin worst was Jesus had forewarned him. But the disciple utterly disregarded the Master's warning.

We are all warned of danger; Do we heed the red signal??

Still another aggravation was that it was in our Lord's hour of sorest need that the disciple denied Him.

Was that a time for the bravest disciple, the most honoured friend, the noblest confessor to turn his back to the Master?

When others fall away and drift away from Him, do we also fall away and drift away from the commitment and the resolutions we made to obey and be faithful?

A time for self introspection!

Topic: Jesus Christ Words Of Life Are Still Giving Comfort To The Sorrowing Ones; Hope To The Despairing Ones.

Matt. 9 : 6,7 & 8. Jesus said to the paralytic man lying on a bed, "Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house. And he arose and departed to his house. Now when the multitude saw it, they marvelled and glorified God.

Words of Christ have words of life. We know how His words comforted sorrow and gave peace to troubled ones.

How His words reached men's hearts and transformed the whole purpose of their lives. We can recall the transformed life of the tax collector, Zachaeus and also how the paralytic man has been healed instantly by His few words. No shouting needed. No jargons needed.

His Words are divine and peace giving. Demons listened trembling when He spoke, and instantly recognised His power and obeyed. They are yet calming tempests and opening blind eyes, and expelling evil spirits, and raising the dead.

These words of Christ which have manifested His majestic miraculous power 2000 years back has the same power even today.....

Then, why when we have the "words of life of Jesus," we are unable to reignite the revival?? Why there is no revival?? It's very simple. We do not obey the life giving words of Christ 100%.

Our obedience is in "bits and pieces" like king Saul..

Everyone needs kind words and encouragement. But always desiring appreciation, praise from people, but same time, unable to take criticism and correction is not true sign . Disciples were criticised, offended and humiliated but yet, they bore the cross and won 1000s to God's kingdom. The day we start "walking the talk," the day our lives become more powerful than our mere preaching brings greatest revival. Let us carry the Cross and not just wearing the cross, and crucify our self centred ego to reignite the great revival.

The Word of God says in Ps. 34:01, "I will bless the Lord at all times. (Good and bad times). His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Amen!

Well, Praise and worship paralyses the powers and chains of darkness and brings us into His divine Light. Praise cripples the powers of satan and makes her powerless. Praise raises us from the depths of despair to the pinnacle of glory, power, healing and deliverance from all oppression and depression. Praise replaces doubts and anxieties with faith and victory.

Topic: Train up the child in a way that he should grow and when he is old, he will not depart from it...

Make sure, we as parents not only know that godly way, but walk that way..

"What you see is what you get."

"What you believe and do is what you get."

It's imposible to walk in the light if we ourselves have not seen the light of Christ.

It's impossible to lead the children to light when we, the parents do not walk in the light.

It does not happen at all, if parents are not modelled and walking that way.

Catch a vission from the Bible and not from the society or worldly values to teach children.

Anyone can breed children but very few can train children in godly way.

"If the home is full of violance and friction when children are tender, be sure you are gifting the children with violance and war instead of peace and love."

When your home is on 🔥 and violance and war, don't expect children when they grow to be gentle, meek and soft. Because violance begats violance, hate begats hatred. Greed bagats greed. And love begats love..

When a child misbehaves at home, be sure he misbehaves in school, misbehaves in college, in office, with friends and with elders too!

2 Corint. 11:1. Be ye followers of me even as I am.. So therefore, let us model ourselves first like Apostle Paul and lead children accordingly.

2 Timothy 4 :12 says, "let no man despise the youth, but be thou an an example in your word, in conversation, in conduct, in faith and in purity."

How can we bend a strong tree when we can't even bend a sapling when it's tender?

Any parent can advice and admonish or instruct children, but few live the same or few follow the direction which they advise. And such parenting yields dividends and fruit..

Many parents advise children to walk godly way... But few parents follow the same.

Many parents ask children to pray and read God's Word, but seldom they do the same..

Many parents speak godly and moral values to children but few live upto it.

Mt.26:41. Watch and pray that ye enter not into temptation. Spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak.

Not to struggle is not to grow strong.. Heaven is only for overcomers. We need to fight out sweet temptations and testings and endure them faithfully so that we are rewarded. None get the crown without enduring these conflicts and struggles, and sweet temptations of life.

"Pleasures of sin are for a season; but it's wages are for eternity."

Proverbs 20:13

Love not sleep, lest you come to poverty; open your eyes, and you will have plenty of bread.

Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor." "A sluggard's appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied." "All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty." "Whoever is lazy regarding his work is also a brother to the master of destruction."

The nominal Christian life that costs nothing is not worthy of the name. There must be self restraint, discipline, severe schooling. There must be struggle, the agonising effort.

If we are to reach the goal, and win the prize, we must put every energy of our life into the race. There must be sacrifice of self-will and personal ease and not being addicted to laziness and pleasure.

Every noble prize is a struggle from begining to end. Only those who resist and fight and overcome are successful in life.

This is true in every sphere - in studies, in professional life, in business and in spiritual life too! Are we resisting sin, overcoming temptation, living victoriously in trial? If not, we are not living worthily. And it's never too late to rise.

1Thes. 5:18. Give thanks in all circumstances.

Thankfulness or unthankfulness is largely a matter of eyes. Two men look at the same scene. One beholds the beauty, the brightness and the other beholds the defects and the imperfections.

One exudes positivity and is optimistic of life, and the other expresses negativity and is pessimistic of life.

If we cannot find things to be thankful for today, everyday, the fault is in ourselves, and then we ought to pray for a new transformed heart, a heart to see God's goodness to praise Him.

A happy heart transfigures all the world for us. It finds something to be thankful for in the barest circumstances, even in the night of sorrow.

So let us train ourselves to see the beauty and the goodness in God's world in our own eyes, and then we shall stop grumbling, and all our experience shall start songs of praise in our heart.

Topic: Without Getting Disheartened, If We Press On, Certainty Of Reward And God's Benediction Is Finally Ours.

Galat. 6:9. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.

Against all odds, we must never give up on ourselves and leave out the God given purpose in our lives.

No matter if do not find rewards, but our rewards are already reserved up above, if we persevere and press on faithfully without giving up.

We need to give ourselves no trouble about the reward of our life. It is for us only to do our duty faithfully, sweetly and lovingly all the days of our lives. Then God will see that we do not miss the reward of fidelity. Our Lord suggests that the righteous will be suprised at the judgement to learn of the glory and the greatness of the services of love we have rendered to the needy ones.

Thus the smallest and obscurest ministry will flash out in splendid radiancy in the days of final revealing, though we may not get any rewards in this world. "No true service done in this world in Christ's name will fail of blessing and reward."

Even the acts which seem to have been of no avail in this world will leave a benediction somewhere.

If your kind word or deed blessed no other, the doing of it blesses your own heart. Though your effort do no good to the one you meant to help, it might touch another life. "Our wayside seed - sowing is never lost."
