In these troubling times, we need to put our trust in something that is eternal. Although God’s thoughts and plans are way beyond us, His loving hands are stretched out in love towards us. Our God is eternal, from everlasting to everlasting; He is the Ancient of Days, before all things, and all time; He is, and was, and is to come. We can trust our lives into His caring hands.

This young man saw storm clouds looming! God already knew and was about to show up! I think much of the problem many Christians have in every day life, is not the understanding of God’s word, but man’s teaching of God’s word. Let’s look at life from God’s perspective, ‘THE EYE OF THE STORM.’

Philippians 2:6-7 Though He was God, He did not think of equality as something to cling to. Instead He gave up His divine privileges and took on the form of a slave While on earth Jesus underwent every trial and temptation that he could fully ‘taste death’ for all. (Heb 2:9) Yet without sin did He all of this! Understand how important this is that he ‘emptied Himself’ of all divinity that He could experience, understand, and empathize with us in every one of our weaknesses. Hebrews 4:14-16 Therefore since we have a great high priest who’s gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God LET US HOLD FIRMLY TO THE FAITH WE PROFESS. For we do not have a high priest who’s unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

As I’ve clearly stated over the years our ‘Christian view’ of God to say the least is tainted by a ‘worldview’ many have of God, especially when things are going bad. There are many that somehow see God as someone who can never be pleased and will disown us at anytime. This is not the God we serve! This morning, if I do only one thing, I’d like to help each of us see God in a new and fresh way. How much he really loves us, and help to understand that the love God has and gives is one that has no strings attached. A love that truly is unconditional.

This morning can I talk to you about you? Contrary to popular belief, the most important things in creation are not the animals, the trees, the oceans, or even the environment. I’m not against any of these things nor do I demean their importance. It just must be said that all this was created for us, so we must make our minds up how we choose to treat our life and what is around us.At final tally, when all has been said and done the most important of all God’s creation is YOU! We are of much more value than we put on ourselves, especially as Christians. MANY, BECAUSE OF WRONG TEACHING, TEND TO DEVALUE THIER WORTH IN THE NAME OF HUMILITY, when the bible teaches that PERSONAL SELF ESTEEM is one of the key elements to humility.Hear this truth… IF WE’LL LOOK AT OURSELVES AS WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST, WE’LL NEVER AGAIN HAVE TO TRY TO PROVE TO OTHERS WHO WE ARE IN OURSELVES.
