I’ve said for years, ‘THERE ARE MORE VICTORIES WON BY CHOICE THAN THERE ARE BY CHANCE’. You see, no one has ever yet fell to the top of a mountain, he or she must do something! Today, as on that day, heaven will be filled with people who made a decision to be there. And with that decision, they believed God’s Word, accepted God’s provision and they received the harvest God promised. How was this done? They made a choice to come over to Christ with their whole life therefore they overcome the world. Years ago Victorious Life was involved in the largest Billy Graham Crusade to come to the Bay Area of California. What impressed me the most and motivated our involvement, was their slogan; ‘WHERE DO YOU WANT TO BE TOMORROW?’ What Billy Graham wanted is what Jesus wants, and the whole purpose for the existence of VLCC, ‘TO MAKE DISCIPLES, NOT JUST DECISIONS.’ Join us as we conclude on series on the harvest and answer the question, ‘How Do We Receive the Harvest God Has Promised?’

God has a Harvest of Victory He desire all of His children to experience. The Psalmist recorded these words that still resonate today, 'I've been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread. There’s an understanding in God’s Word that must be attended to for us to come to the fullness of God’s blessings. The bible is full of implied subjects that many times are not clearly defined. Parables are like this, built on ‘life images’ to help people see God’s plan. Yet what is clear is that everything begins with what we have… FAITH IS THE POWER OF THE SEED. If we can and will believe God can do the much we need with the little we may have! In the book of Hebrews chapter 11 scripture tells us clearly that faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. It declares BY FAITH WE UNDERSTAND! So what is faith? Simply put, it is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.

The problem remains that many people, even God’s people; hear God’s Word, but they do not understand God’s Word and because of this, many do not obey God’s Word! My passion as your pastor has always been to help everyone that will to understand and thereby, apply God’s Word to his or her life. Join us this week as Pastor Tim begins a new series that will help each of us understand God’s Way of doing things. It is God’s plan to bless His people in a host of different ways, but we’ll only see it done as we accept, apply and do things God’s way.
