The foundation of a Christian life is a love relationship with God. If the Holy Spirit is going to empower you to be effective in the kingdom, you have to cooperate with Him to change you, mold you, and prepare you for His will for your life. Those who resist, quench, grieve, or put off the Spirit will do so at the cost of their relationship with God. Often, God will pick the mostly unlikely people, but He demands open hearts, ready to be used by Him!

Does God wait until we are fully ready to use our lives? Some people feel that they really need to be fully ready before God can call them, accept them, use them or love them. However, that thought is far from the truth! The Bible is full of people that God used as they were. We’ve got to remember that we are human; full of limitations and desperately in need of a savior. To think that you really need to be ready before serving the Lord is like saying, “I really need to take a shower before I can really get in the bathtub” or “I truly need to be well before I can see the doctor.”

What dreams lie dormant in your heart? Do you no longer pursue a dream because you think you’d need a miracle to see it come true? I can tell you God is still in the business of working miracles. You may get that miracle once you take some steps of faith toward your goal. So I ask the question, does the dream you have fill all the criteria of one God has given. If so, how do you bring that dream to fruition, human strength, mindless drive or personal calculation? This Sunday we will hopefully look at some truths that will help to answer that question that have challenged our heart for years, ‘If I find God Has Given Me a Dream; How Do I See It?

I know that sounds like a ‘Duh’ statement there is this reality, especially when it comes to our dreams. God creates out of nothing; yet we create under His guidance, teaching, direction and provision. Do all dreams come from God? Will all of our dreams come true? We must understand that dreams are living and vibrant, but like flowers and trees that do have a season and a time in which to produce and/or come to fruition. As in life, dreams are always developing and changing, but realize they are also growing and/or dying. This week we’ll begin our new series, ‘Making Dreams Come True; God’s Part, Our Part.’ Is it easy to make our dreams come true? Are all dreams from God? What does it take? Do we have part in the process?

We often miss and waste our moments of worship by not recognizing the “little” things that God does in our lives. We neglect and ignore the very things that matter the most and bring Glory to God. How many times are we in the presence of His greatness and miss it? We constantly overlook, underestimate, and belittle God’s miraculous providence every single day of our lives. We must recognize God’s hand daily and not let our time, thoughts, and lives be occupied by worry and distractions. Instead, let’s determine to offer to God a sacrifice of Praise daily.

You and I were made to worship and not to worry! We were made to seek God’s kingdom first. But life happens and the enemy tends to use our needs and concerns to distract our focus from God. Joyce Meyer said, “Worry and worship are exact opposites. We would all be much happier if we learned to become worshippers instead of worriers. Sometimes when we don't have what we need or want, the enemy tries to discourage us and keep us from worshipping God. Yet when we know God has our best interests at heart, we can worship Him regardless of our circumstances.”

The mystery of Shemitah is about the events happening in America and around the world that were predicted to the time and date of occurrence throughout Scripture and the Talmud. There is nothing that happens in God’s World by accident or coincidence. Solomon wrote ‘there is a time and season for everything under the sun’. The Scripture also declares that we are not to be ignorant of the ‘times and seasons of the end.’
