A lot of times what happens is, as God begins to move and as fire in His house begins to stir, we are stewarding it really well…and it gets so comfortable. We are in God’s presence, growing in our prayer life, learning the Word, moving in the power of Holy Spirit with each other, and praying in church with words of prophecy going out…but what happens is we get comfortable and tempted to stay in the house. What can we learn from the book of Jonah? When God calls His Prophet to an assignment, it is expected for the Prophet to hesitate and feel a bit unqualified. This hesitancy is what will cause us to lean into God to accomplish His call. Jonah responded by running the other way and finding himself going lower and lower. God was at work, pointing the way to Jesus all the while and working His call into fruition. The story of […]

Our imagination can be our greatest strength or our greatest weakness. If you continue to imagine and picture yourself as someone who has no hope, you will probably remain in that state. Can you imagine yourself writing a huge check that brings funding to something that God is doing? Pastor Jacob teaches us to understand faith and why it is the substance of things hoped and the evidence of things unseen.

God wants Heaven to invade earth. “Your kingdom come, Your will be done” is our prayer. And we are to live in accordance to that prayer. So why isn’t the Kingdom of God perfectly enacted in earth as it is in Heaven??? It’s because of us…we’ve been pretty poor partners. How do you get in on what God is doing? If you’re still breathing, God has purpose for you. You need a vision of what God has for you. You […]

New wine in old wineskins can destroy both. When God wants to do something new, we must prepare to receive it by preparing a new wineskin to contain it. We have our own perspective on life because of our own unique experiences and personality. What if we could adjust our perspective and humble ourselves in such a way as to see things from another’s point of view? This message explores 3 ways we can adjust our point of view and […]

As followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are citizens of Heaven. Our citizenship IS IN Heaven. Some people are “blissfully soaking in God’s presence” yet pouring sour wine into their marriages, children, businesses.” Are you one of these Christians? Pay attention to the words of the Apostle Paul: we have citizenship in Heaven itself. Civil government changing is directly connected to the home and the nuclear family. The vibrancy of the relationships in a community is directly connected the […]

The enemy’s agenda has been to make us think small…survival. An encounter with Jesus and a relationship with Jesus truly leads to transformation. Your life can be transformed. I pray that your sight get elevated into all that God has; God’s Kingdom agenda is bigger than you getting over the next problem. Part of elevating our perspective is to see God’s Kingdom agenda for all it is which includes the transformation of whole communities–the network of relationships that we all […]

This transformed community is what we need to be immersed in! To see these above ten things, the Acts 2 Church devoted themselves to: Apostles’ teaching Fellowship Breaking of bread Prayer “We are a generation past people having a general respect for the Scriptures.  It’s gone from a general respect to indifference to hostility.  Now it’s hostility.  For you to ground your life on the Word of God will cause a distinction in you culturally speaking.  But you didn’t just […]
