Knowing our spiritual jurisdiction is important. Most people do not know or understand boundaries and how they work. An important thing to remember whether you are in charge or not, is to base everything you do off of the Word of God. You won’t step out of bounds when you follow His voice. Leadership is understanding Who is really in charge and living under the authority of God. About Duane: Duane Sheriff is the Senior Founding Pastor of Victory Life […]

If we are going to hold anything good in our mind, we have to renew our minds daily. There are so many things that our body does because we have allowed our minds to be influenced by things inferior to the Word of God. There are people around us that we wish we could be like, forgetting that we have what we need when we spend time with God. No one has more than we have available to us by […]

The fact that priority can be plural is a problem in our society. If we do not have one priority, one focus, we will not develop endurance. Jesus being our focus gives us the strength to develop the endurance we need to finish this journey well. It’s not called endurance because it’s easy. If we have our focus on anything else but Jesus, we will wear ourselves out and quit early. Giving in to the temptation of pain avoidance in […]

We tend to make leadership too complicated. If you have a good relationship with God, you will be a good leader. True relationship with God will produce humility and all the fruits of the Spirit. Don’t you wish your boss operated with the fruits of the Spirit? Don’t you want your boss to bring love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control? Even if you are not in charge, you can lead with a good relationship with God. Andrew […]

Authority is something we as a society do not really understand. There is abuse of authority and that has to be corrected by the ones in authority over them, and if someone tells to violate the Word of God, we are not to obey that authority. All authority is delegated by Jesus and it would be good for us to remember that every time we are tempted to abuse it. Submitting to authority is also not popular in our society. […]

Billy Epperhart gives us a well-balanced “meal” of spiritually sound financial wisdom. He shows us a really cool graph of the XXX Factor that helps us see a great way to build wealth. Although money is not our savior or our master, the Lord uses what we are willing to give to advance His Kingdom. God is the one who makes us wealthy, it’s up to us to be good stewards and to allow Him to build our faith for […]

Andrew teaches that wanting just enough for yourself is actually a selfish mindset! The Word is still true when it says it is more blessed to give than to receive. But if you only want to pay your bills, it’s time to remember that we have to receive from God in order to give to others. Talking about prosperous Christians seems to be offensive to people. Money simply amplifies what’s already in your heart. If you overspend the little you […]

Most people think they want change, but they are so comfortable in the current things they lack the grit to go through the pain of change.
