God wants Heaven to invade earth. “Your kingdom come, Your will be done” is our prayer. And we are to live in accordance to that prayer. So why isn’t the Kingdom of God perfectly enacted in earth as it is in Heaven??? It’s because of us…we’ve been pretty poor partners. How do you get in on what God is doing? If you’re still breathing, God has purpose for you. You need a vision of what God has for you. You […]

We need to understand that Jesus is the one necessary thing we need to live life as Christ. Everything comes from Jesus, and everything comes back to Jesus, the one thing.

New wine in old wineskins can destroy both. When God wants to do something new, we must prepare to receive it by preparing a new wineskin to contain it. We have our own perspective on life because of our own unique experiences and personality. What if we could adjust our perspective and humble ourselves in such a way as to see things from another’s point of view? This message explores 3 ways we can adjust our point of view and […]

As followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are citizens of Heaven. Our citizenship IS IN Heaven. Some people are “blissfully soaking in God’s presence” yet pouring sour wine into their marriages, children, businesses.” Are you one of these Christians? Pay attention to the words of the Apostle Paul: we have citizenship in Heaven itself. Civil government changing is directly connected to the home and the nuclear family. The vibrancy of the relationships in a community is directly connected the […]

The enemy’s agenda has been to make us think small…survival. An encounter with Jesus and a relationship with Jesus truly leads to transformation. Your life can be transformed. I pray that your sight get elevated into all that God has; God’s Kingdom agenda is bigger than you getting over the next problem. Part of elevating our perspective is to see God’s Kingdom agenda for all it is which includes the transformation of whole communities–the network of relationships that we all […]

This transformed community is what we need to be immersed in! To see these above ten things, the Acts 2 Church devoted themselves to: Apostles’ teaching Fellowship Breaking of bread Prayer “We are a generation past people having a general respect for the Scriptures.  It’s gone from a general respect to indifference to hostility.  Now it’s hostility.  For you to ground your life on the Word of God will cause a distinction in you culturally speaking.  But you didn’t just […]

Those in the crooked generation should look at the community of Christ and say “that’s how people are supposed to live. That’s what it looks like for people to live together in community.” The world’s laws, structures, and systems will not do that. Only the power of the Holy Spirit will do that! Only a group of people completely sold out to Jesus will do that. That’s what it takes to transform a community, a city. Our witness calls others […]

When baking a cake, if the baker uses half of just one ingredient the cake cannot fully be enjoyed. As we walk with God if we are missing one ingredient or using only half of what is called for, our Christian life cannot be fully enjoyed. Pastor Lee reminds us from Acts 2:42-47 that when The New Covenant Church began there were 2 ingredients: 1) Meeting in the Church daily 2) Meeting from house to house If we are missing […]

Shame tries to set up camp in our hearts, but what if we made no room for it? What if the Kingdom’s space in our hearts was so great and strong that shame had no room to stay? All too often, we behave as though the Kingdom is simply a destination or something to acquire, but what if we lived as though the Kingdom of God is within us? The reason we need community is because when we are in […]
