During this month we’ve been having a sermon series every Sunday with the theme, Teach All Nations. Christ gave us this command to teach all nations and we can’t do it alone. God’s people must work together!

What does he want us to teach? Scripture alone! Everything passes away, except scripture!

Awards, trophies, toys, cars, houses, relationships, philosophies…they don’t last and all eventually pass away. In a world where everything is passing away, scripture alone will stand forever. We hope you find peace in this message today! God bless your week!

During this month we’re going to have a sermon series every Sunday with the theme, Teach All Nations. Christ gave us this command to teach all nations and we can’t do it alone. God’s people must work together!

We believe in scripture alone. We believe in faith alone. And we believe we are saved by grace alone! Today we’re going to focus on how we’re saved by grace alone!

Faith is only as good as what that faith is grabbing. If you just say, “You gotta have faith!” but you don’t really know what that means and are just hoping for the best, that is flimsy! How can we have strong faith and peace in the outcome no matter what?

Join us as we look at Isaiah 25 to answer that question.

Isaiah 2:1-4 Teach All Nations! God’s People Work Together!  Nations will stream to the mountain of the LORD’s temple! Peace prevails, as we participate in handing out his invitations.

Psalm 25…This psalm is an alphabetic acrostic, offering petitions and praise from A to Z, with the last verse extending beyond the alphabet. Martin Luther said, “Psalm 25 is a prayer. The psalmist prays for piety and forgiveness from God, and asks to be guarded and rescued from sin and shame, enemies and all evil. This psalm treats truly individual needs and circumstances.” This certainly includes everything we would ever need regarding the eternally important task of teaching all nations about Jesus!

Acts 2:42-47  (sermon verses) Teach All Nations! God’s People Work Together Shortly after Jesus ascended, the early Christian church got right to work, teaching all nations about his word of life.

John 20:19-23 Teach All Nations! God’s People Work Together!  Easter evening, Jesus found his disciples paralyzed with fear. He announced his peace! He gave them their mission.

September 27, 2023 Devotion: Surrounded By Unfailing Love!
STOP!!! “We’ve got you surrounded!”

How would you feel if you heard those words while lights flashed around you and people started coming towards you with handcuffs to arrest you for something.

It’s pretty scary to think about being surrounded by something or someone that’s not on your side.

Now we’re not criminals on the run but we do have situations that can sometimes feel similar.

When trouble, grief, or worry hits us again and again…if you have no anchor and you have to battle all of those waves on your own….it can be scary and you feel surrounded! It’s the worst thing to feel alone wondering if you’re going to survive the hits or not.

Today we’re moving forward with a couple of verses from Psalm 32 that will help us find so much peace in these types of situations.
