They call this "black friday" and in reality it is "black season" but there is a way to really be happy during this wonderful time of the year!

A you thankful only when everything is going well. Paul said in Phil.4:12 that he knew how to be happy when things were good and when they weren't! We are to rejoice in the Lord always!

If riches and things can make you happy why do so many deathly, famous people kill themselves? There is one who can truly make you happy and give you an inner satisfaction and His name is Jesus!

Phil.$:11 The Apostle Paul laying in the Mamertine prison, one of the worst, darkest, smelly places on earth says: "I have learned to be content." That word content translates to "an inner satisfaction!" How can we, in this present world, with all it's craziness have that inner satisfaction?

Things will never make you happy. As we draw near to Thanksgiving we all have so much to be Thankful for. The letter from the mom I share in this program hopefully will bless your heart as it did mine!

"Why do you always date each program? Don't you think we are smart enough to know what day it is?" "Can a person lose their salvation? What if they out and out deny and reject Jesus?" "How do I get rid of these solicitation calls from people?" "What is the difference between the "Updates" and the "Tell it like it is" reports?"

It's real easy to look around at all the bad stuff happenings and even play "Oh ain't it awful" BUT nothing is happening that God does not know and is allowing. Look up and according to Ps. 40:5 try and remember and count all the good things, maybe miracles, God has done for you!

After you look around and see how messed up things are---look up and see that Jesus is still in control and loves you and is your eternal HOPE. His promises are sure and He will keep everyone of them to you all the way to heaven!

In light of much of what is happening around us a lady asked the other day, "Does anyone tell the truth anymore? Does anyone keep their promises anymore? The answer is YES---God does! The world is hungry for some HOPE and you and I have it. Share it!

Trails and tribulations are unavoidable but God promises to see us threw them all. This question was asked last week and rather than give you a short answer on the friday questions and answers program I have chosen to address it today in light of all the things happening today!
