We've all been there---dealing with people who criticize or are antagonistic. I'm sure there have been times when you've felt like fighting back, getting even or maybe even sucker punching them! Today I'll share what God says our attitude ought to be!

These are concerning times BUT they are also exactly as He said things would happen AND there is a great way to stay up and encouraged even in difficult times. Because He lives we can face today and tomorrow!

A quick look at Hosea 4:6 will tell you "My people are destroyed fpr a lack of knowledge" it goes on the say that if we forget God's laws "it will be your children who pay the price." Friend, are children are dying and paying the price for our lands forgeting God while many bury their heads in the sand! There is a way to be aware yet not afraid.

What are the most important things to do to get your new Christian life started right? BTW you never outfrow your need for milk so these 5 things ought to be in all our Christian lives! So much made of the State of the Union address but how many are really willing to address the State of the Union? The main question when we get to heaven?

It is vital we all have a good, Godly "council" of people around us BUT we also need to be very aware of our "secondary associations" as well. Like: who is teaching our childre. Their coaches and group leaders. The leaders of our church. The people in our internet groups and especially who our children are communicating with! Who we vote for!

It is vital to your spiritual life and growth that the people in your inner circle are dedicated to your spiritual welfare first and foremost. There is a danger in business and ministry that people around you will tell you what they think you want to hear verses straight Biblical truth!

We all need a "council." A group of people who we listen to and take advice from. A pastor who is most interested in our spiritual life. A doctor who is dedicated to our health and speaks truth. A good Godly lawyer and good friends who are first and foremost interested in our spiritual life. Remember "garbage in---garbage out." You are what you eat as they say.

More than ever it is vital you have a good, Godly "council" of people around you who care first and foremost about your spiritual wellbeing! We see ads all the time about financial consultants and insurance consultants---more important than any thing else you need a circle of friends and ccaregivers who care about your spiritual welfare!

How can I know I am genuinely saved? What is complete forgiveness? How did we ever get in this mess? After we are saved what if we sin? 

One, you can't associate with the wrong crowd and turn out right. Two, yu need to be with the right crowd. A group of people who love God and share your convictions. The role of the church---the right church---in your life.
