We hear, "Jesus is the reason for the season"---I say, "Jesus is the reason for everything!" As we study this last church age---these people said we have everything and yet Jesus said they were very misgiven. He is your answer for everything as we will see today!

Revelation chapter 3 talks about the fatal error of letting go of the hand of God and making all the other gods more important BUT He also says if we (individually) repend He will guide us and protect us AND "Whosoever harkens will dwell safely,"

We've established it is indeed Jesus who is writing to these churches---Jesus who throughout the Word is indicative of love---saying because you are lukewarm you make me sick!

Jesus gives a rather horrible depiction of what He thinks of lukewarm Christians---especially in this day in Rev. 3. But just what does it mean to be "hot" for Him? That is very different for each one of us!

The church of the Laodiceans is this church age and we need take heed to what He says about lukewarmness!

This letter to the church in Philadelphia reinforces that the the christian life is individual!

Whether anyone else wants to stay true to the Word and Jesus is their choice. God says IF we, individually, stand He will make a pillar in His kingdom!

What ever happened to brotherly love? That is what philadelphia means---brotherly love. God is love and when you erode the very foundation of society or a church you get the mess we have today!

One thing is absolutely sure. Once we either die or are raptured we will see Jesus face to fact and we will give an account for not only what we have done with our ives BUT what we could have done. People with needs are all around us and the greatest joy is helping us. Giving of ourselfs the help lift their burdens.
