Sound familiar? "But Noah found grace in the sight of the Lord." God tells him to build an ark---they estimate it took 75 years. No Lowes or Home Depot---enough gopher wood to build a boat 515 ft long, 51 feet high and 85 feet wide---its never rained, not a cloud in the sky, mockers everywhere and now he is told to go get two of every living creature???? Seriously??? Would you be that obedient for verse 22 of Gen. 6 says he did what he was told without question!

Gen. 6 tells us the world was so wicked God was going to totally destroy it. The thoughts of man were wicked continually---BUT---"Noah found grace in the sight of the Lord" and you know "the rest of the story" as Paul Harvey use to say. Is our world wicked---sure BUT GOD! And you and I can have His grace today just like Noah did.

Is life tough? Sure---but some make it much tougher than it has to be AND if you know Christ we are told of all His benefits and promises and that the VICTORY is already ours! Stir up the gift that is in you---you are not walking in this life alone and keep looking up---this world is not our home---someday, sometime He's coming and we're going home!

There is an interesting story in Mark 5 where Jesus kicks the demons out of the man who lived in the tombs. The demons were sent into 2000 swine and they ran of a cliff and died in the sea. When the towns people realized their source of income was gone they asked Jesus to leave. He left and later their town was sestroyed. Sound familiar? Listen to this special remembrance of 9/11/01
