The lame man in John 5 had been lame 38 years. He was hoping for over 13,000 days someone would put him in the pool but others always beat him to it. Jesus comes by and asks a very strange question: "Would you be healed?" Listen today as we explore the why for that question!

Happy Labor Day! The question has been asked of me, "Pastor, how long does it take for a miracle?" Today you will hear of a 2022 living miracle! You need to hear this story---it will encourage your heart!

How can I know I am really saved? Do you ever doubt? What is your opinion of the college loan forgiveness program? What do you personally pray for the most? Do you believe that we are living in a day when a Nehemiah type miracle could still happen?

The story of Nehemiah is a fascinating miracle. The wall was built in 52 days. Nehemiah knew it would only happen by God but he also knew it would take a lot of people---each one doing their part to rebuild the wall in front of their house. "My people, called by my name" working together for the honor and glory of God!

When we read the stories of great miracles in the Bible: be they Nehemiah's story, Esther, Daniel, the three Hebrew children and all the others there is one common denominator in the all---they all realized their only hope and THE one who did the miracle was God and He alone! He likes to do things where only He gets the credit!

When you really understand the miracle of Nehemiah and the rebuilding of the wall you can't help but believe in the God of miracles. Today we'll share so oft overlooked parts of this story!

Sometimes it's a mess they are going through with family, finances, business, health, children or the world condition in general but I get this question quite often! The answer is always the same---yes---as long as God is on the throne of your life---yes---there is hope. If He brought you to it He will bring you through it!

How has Satan used Covid-19 to undermine the church? What if my church doesn't have any place for me to serve? How does repentance play into modern day Christianity? How any I suppose to use my gifts from God? What role should prayer play in our everyday life?

By removing sin from our preaching we likewise remove the great opportunity to tell people about the freedoms and forgiveness offered only in Jesus. The guilt of that still small voice haunts so many and when we fail to point out that Jesus can set one free we in effect take away the the real gospel from people's lives!

We are talking this week about the failure of the church in modern America and Canada. Unless sin is sin and repentance is preached---how does a person get saved? We have so watered down sin that guilt and shame and repenting of ones sins has basically become non-existant!
