This is a message I preached at Freedom Village back in 2006

It is in the times of our biggest rials God shows up and shows off! He takes our distresses and uses them for His glory. It is in the times of great tribulation that our faith in Him should be the strongest!

If not THE number one thing I have heard over the years it is right up there near the top---"I just don't understand"---in today's world many say, "That just doesn't make any sense" or "what is He waiting of?" Aren't you glad someday you will know---you will understand!

Have you ever prayed "Even so Lord Jesus come quickly" and wondered why He hasn't come yet? Some thoughts on just why that is! He certainly will come but there are some good reasons why that hasn't happened yet!

What does the church need to do for new Christians? How can a person know they are saved and going to heaven? How can a person say they are a Christian and believe there is more than one way to heaven? How Cana person say they are a Christian and believe in abortion? 

Many think that comforting the mourning and bruised is the job of the Pastor but the actual commandment is to all of us---especially in these last days. Somewhere in "your world" someone needs to know you care and are praying for them. Reach out today and touch somebody and "thou shalt be blessed!"

This is a wicked age BUT nothing compared to what others have endured down through the ages. Nobody is being fed to lions or burned at the stake---the cancel culture slings venom, the hate crowd hates God and all who stand true for Him but He said that day was coming. But we are called to stand and witness inspire of it!

Isa. 61:1&2 gives us a clear commandment of what we should be challenging people about in this day and age. Hey.10:25 says we should be in a good church "even the more so as we see that day approaching!" We have a great opportunity and calling in these days and Satan is working overtime to stop us!

At a time when the need cries out "Help me. Help me"---the answer and help is so near yet those willing to risk sharing it so few!Jesus said, the fields are white unit harvest but the laborers few! My friend, we have THE answer the world is seeking and we must share it!

Is homosexuality a worse sin than any others? What is the real Lord's Prayer? What can I do to help change today's world? What should the church's attitude be about the sins of today? Some very important challenges!
