Writer/director Eskil Vogt talks with Fantastic Fest Director of Programming, Annick Mahnert, about his latest film, The Innocents! The film is a taut, slow-burning supernatural thriller about children with psychic abilities that explores the dark and light nature of kids. Masterfully told and ripe with excellent performances, Vogt creates a mysterious and compelling world where dark actions have dark consequences. It's definitely one to watch!

Yernar Nurgaliev is a director of films and music videos from Almaty, Kazakhstan. Sweetie, You Won't Believe It is Yernar's third film, and it just had its Texas premiere at Fantastic Fest. The film mixes comedy, drama, thriller, and horror into a bloody good genre hybrid that is hilariously entertaining watch. We had the privilege of chatting with Yernar, along with his translator Aizada, about the film, its origins, and much much more!

We had the pleasure of catching the Texas premiere of Mickey Reece's latest film, Agnes, with Reece and his screenwriting partner John Selvidge in attendance! In typical Reece fashion, expectations are subverted and the audience is taken on an unexpected ride. Don't expect your typical exorcism film here because this is quite a different beast.

We caught the world premiere of the latest installment into the V/H/S franchise, V/H/S/94, at this year's Fantastic Fest with most of the filmmakers, as well as producer Josh Goldblum, in attendance. The film features five new segments from Simon Barrett, Chloe Okuno, Ryan Prows, Jennifer Reeder, and Timo Tjahjanto, and takes viewers for a gory good ride that attempts to right the wrongs of the franchise's previous entry.
We had the pleasure of attending the Texas premiere for Jim Cummings and PJ McCabe's satirical erotic thriller, The Beta Test, with both directors in attendance! It was a wickedly fun, hilariously nasty irreverent ride that features another strong comedic performance from Cummings. We enjoyed the film and look forward to seeing it again when it releases on 11/5, Guy Fawkes day ironically. We hope you enjoy this Q&A as much as we did.

We had the pleasure of catching a screening of Last Night In Soho with co-writer and director Edgar Wright in attendance! The film was the first secret screening at the festival, and it was very cool to be one of the select few to see it before its 10/29 release.
