Video Game Collectors

https://youtu.be/AFKGm35Rs54Dan is back! And he is badder than ever.....wait, I think that was an 80's movie into.....anyway. On this episode, Dan shares with us his new project which is a stand alone marketplace for graded, sealed video games. I personally love this idea and have felt it was needed. Certain games you will still want to send to Heritage for auction and ungraded would still go to eBay. One great feature that Minusworlds.com will feature is offering a bounty. Basically a reverse eBay. Let everyone know the game and grade range you are looking for and set your price you are willing to pay. If someone sees your bounty and is willing to meet it, boom! No endless searching for that game necessary. This would be one private way to get a game out of a long time collectors hands that isn't willing to make it publicly known that they have it. We look forward to the future of Minusworlds.com!

Video Game Collectors Podcast welcomes Wayde Daigneault @explodedhamster. Wayde is a long time video game collector from back in the good old days of NintendoAge.

Wayde is not only a big video game collector, but just a great guy in general. It doesn't matter if he is talking to a multi million dollar collector, or someone just getting started, he treats and respects everyone the same and it is to be admired.

We had a lot of fun getting to know Wayde better and look forward to having him on in future episodes to get even deeper into games in general.

Josh & I go over the weekly Heritage video game auctions on 6-29-21. There were some great buys along with a few surprises.

We also are giving away a sealed game that our 5th biggest fan (Michael) sent to us. He was so generous to say keep it or give it away, so that is what we are doing. How can you win it? Just make a great comment on our youtube video (can be anything you want) and we will randomly pick the winner based on how intriguing the comment is 😁

Josh & I go over the weekly Heritage video game auctions on 6-1-21. There were some interesting finds and we both bought some pieces from this one.

Also, multiple fans including the elusive Dan Kaplan as well as Michael sent us some games to look at and possibly open! One of the games will have parts being auctioned off at nintendoage.net/forum/. The auction will start on Sunday June 13th and Go till Sunday June 20th. All proceeds will go to the local food bank here in Seaside: https://www.seasidefoodbank.com/ as per request from Dan :-) Thank you Dan, you are a gentleman and a scholar.

On this episode of Video Game Collectors Podcast, Josh and I go over the weekly Heritage auctions on 5-24-21. There were a few interesting sales and for me it is always great to get some of Josh's insight as to what release a game is and some of it's history. All of these factors tend to add up to why a game is what it is and why it is valued the way that it is.

We hope you enjoy this episode and if you have something to share and would like to come on as a guest, reach out and let us know.

Video Game Collectors Welcomes Dan Gomez! You can find him on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/super_nintender/?hl=en

Dan's knowledge and passion for Xbox really shows. It is people like Dan that help the community grow and improve collecting as a whole. His knowledge of verifying sealed games alone is enough for any serious collector to want to get to know Dan better.

Disc based games are some of the easiest reseals for people to do. With that said, it is important for you as a collector to educate yourself on what to look for. Dan is a master at just that. Dan even offers his services for people with large collections or big possible purchases.

He is a super nice guy as you will see and benefits us all with his knowledge. We really look forward to having him back and sharing more info.
