Last week, the Fed hiked interest rates by a quarter of a percent, setting its target range at 1.0% to 1.25%. They also left their forward guidance essentially unchanged, saying that they will raise rates again and start to shrink their balance sheet by the end of the year. We'll discuss our thoughts behind these moves.
