Our Fast & Vidiots series makes a pit stop while we discuss the twitter poll-chosen pairing of Hal Ashby's HAROLD AND MAUDE and Lawrence Kasdan's THE BIG CHILL, as well as a wide range of things we've seen recently, from ROMY AND MICHELE to FX's LEGION, and more!
(BIG CHILL and HAROLD AND MAUDE starts at 57:00)
All roads have led to this. Mutual love of Dom, Brian, and the whole Toretto family is the foundation of Clay and Darren's friendship, and they will finally discuss these seminal films in depth in our new series, "Fast & Vidiots: Hepburning Rubber." What does the "Hepburning Rubber" part mean, you ask? It means that we will be selecting a classic Audrey Hepburn film to dig into each week as well, beginning with 1953's ROMAN HOLIDAY. Something for everyone here on VVSS!
Joining the fun for the first episode is Buzzfeed News' senior film reporter Adam B. Vary, and his infant son Wyatt.
We go full nerd this week with spoiler discussions of MOANA and SPLIT, followed by Clay's impressions of FX's LEGION and an in-depth look at the character Wolverine, from ORIGINS to LOGAN.
Darren returns from his travels to join Clay in a rousing discussion of the wild 2017 Oscar ceremony. Other films discussed include LEGO BATMAN, BABE: PIG IN THE CITY, INNERSPACE and many, many more!
On the last day at the original Vidiots store, Clay is joined by fellow Vidiots clerks Ryan and Robbie to provide some final recommendations for guest renter David Janove.
Next week: Darren's back for our Oscars wrap-up!
Recorded at Vidiots in Santa Monica.
Vidiots Executive Director Maggie Mackay joins Clay and Ryan to discuss the next chapter in the Vidiots story.

Clay is joined by guest co-host Ryan Marker to discuss Spike Lee's DO THE RIGHT THING and Ryan Coogler's FRUITVALE STATION. Also: THE KNICK season 2, the pilot of FX's LEGION, and free ads for Seeso and Filmstruck?
As the title would suggest, we geek out over / critically analyze the filmography of the Master of Horror, Mr. John Carpenter!
Recorded at Vidiots in Santa Monica
It's a full week for the show as Clay and Darren discuss the 2017 Oscar nominations, big changes for the Vidiots Foundation, and TONS of things they've been watching lately.
Music gives us life this week as veteran Vidiot Ryan Marker joins Clay to talk about 1972's CABARET and 2014's FRANK.
Recorded at Vidiots in Santa Monica.
