We celebrate the Apostles Peter and Paul, who served the Church in their own ways, as Christ called them. Both sometimes errored, but Christ called them all the same. We, too, are called to proclaim the Gospel and build the Church.

As we prepare to celebrate the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea's declaration of the Creed proclaim Jesus is of the same essence or existence as the Father and the Spirit, we call to mind that we need the right words to describe God if we want right worship.

Jesus appears a third time to some of the Apostles, and provides a breakfast for them. He restores Peter by asking some hard questions, and giving him a mission. The Lord is asking us the same question, and inviting us to be more that fans or followers. He calls us to be friends and family, and to show our love.
