Welcome back to the Views From Lot K! Max and Steve are back to brighten up your Thursday with open ended discussions about Philadelphia Sports in an otherwise slow sports week. If you've been having a slow work week, then tune it to help the rest of the week fly by! The Phillies lost to a dominant Rays side, but there were still positives. Ranger Suarez may be a full time starter, Odubel Herrera getting hot to try and earn a starting lineup spot, and JD Hammer helping the Phillies try to catch the Braves in the standings. However, time is running out and the stove is getting hotter (01:20). The Eagles have been sharing practice with the Jets this week and we have a ton of talking points. The defensive line has stood out, two deep at every position, while the Birds seem to have put their wide out woes behind them this season (14:30). Slow news week, so time for a new segment! Welcome back to the Views From Lot K! A fair amount of pain from the City of Brotherly Love's sports squads but there were still some highlights from the week. Catch up on it all here! The Phillies went west to play the Diamondbacks, only to be swept by the worst team in baseball. Max and Steve discuss the many facets where the Fightin's went wrong, but some rebounding was had in San Diego (0:55). Some good did happen this week, but we sandwiched it between the bad. The Union snagged four points from their two games going into the All Star Break, as Max breaks down the fixtures and the star player who can push the Union to new heights post break (23:20). Steve leads us through some scummy marketing by the Eagles, just to double down and get embarrassed by the Patriots in a preseason game. Yeah, no starters played but no real highlights had by guys fighting for roster spots (29:00). Finally, winning ways had by both Steve and Max in Bets of the Week (33:00)!
