Etan Mabourakh is the Action Organizing Manager at the National Iranian American Council (NIAC), where oversees NIAC’s grassroots efforts to empower Iranian American In every state around the country for pro-peace, pro civil rights and human rights advocacy. He also co-captains the NIAC New York Chapter mobilizing volunteer leaders, engaging policymakers, and advancing campaigns for peace and justice in the Middle East and U.S.
Chris Gilbert is professor of political studies, Universidad Bolivariana de Venezuela, co-host and co-creator of the Marxist educational podcast and television program Escuela de Cuadros. He's the Author of the book "Commune or Nothing! Venezuela's Communal Movement and Its Socialist Project" and a Contributing editor at Monthly Review Magazine.
Vijay Prashad is an Indian historian and journalist. He is the author of forty books, including Washington Bullets, Red Star Over the Third World, The Darker Nations: A People’s History of the Third World, The Poorer Nations: A Possible History of the Global South, and The Withdrawal: Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, and the Fragility of U.S. Power, written with Noam Chomsky. Vijay is the executive director of Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research, the chief correspondent for Globetrotter, and the chief editor of LeftWord Books (New Delhi). He also appeared in the films Shadow World (2016) and Two Meetings (2017).
