  • The Revelation of...Jesus!

The book of Revelation often gets framed as something to fear—but at its heart, it’s an invitation to faithful endurance. In this introduction to our Revelation series, we step into the book as a pastoral letter written to real churches facing real pressure, reminding us that Jesus is not distant or detached—He is present, walking among His churches, seeing what’s happening, and speaking with both truth and hope. Rather than offering an escape from the world, Revelation pulls back the curtain on reality as God sees it, inviting us to truly hear what the Spirit is saying and respond with lives shaped by Jesus’ faithfulness. This opening message sets the tone for the weeks ahead: learning how to make the invisible God visible as we follow Jesus together with courage, humility, and hope.

  • What is Truth?

What happens when our opinions get louder than Jesus?

In this week’s message from 3 John, we’re invited to slow down and return to something simple and life-giving: walking in the truth of Christ. John’s short letter cuts through the noise of pride, fear, and division with a clear invitation—don’t imitate what is harmful, imitate what is good.

This teaching gently challenges us to examine where we’ve been shaped more by culture, commentary, or control than by the presence of Jesus. It’s a call to repentance, humility, and renewed closeness with Christ—the One who is the way, the truth, and the life.

If you’re feeling tired of the noise and hungry for something deeper, this message is an invitation to come back to Jesus and walk in His truth together.

  • Walking Together

Following Jesus has always been a shared journey. In this message from 2 John, we’re reminded that love and truth were never meant to be separated—and that staying faithful to the real Jesus often happens best in community, not in isolation. John’s words to a first-century house church sound surprisingly familiar as we navigate voices, opinions, and cultural pressure today.

As we look to a coming season of walking through the churches of Revelation, this teaching invites us to slow down and practice following Jesus together. Life Groups are one of the primary ways we do that at Vineyard Boise—gathering in homes and shared spaces to pray, listen, and learn how to live the way of Jesus in everyday life. If you’re newer or looking to get grounded, our Foundations classes are a great next step alongside a Life Group.

  • Baptism Sunday 2026

What happens when God brings us back to the wheel? In this message from Baptism Sunday, we step into the potter’s house with Jeremiah and rediscover how God forms us over time—breaking down what’s dry and brittle, saturating us with His Spirit, and shaping us with care and intention.

Clay is never wasted. No matter how many times it collapses, it can always return to the water. This sermon is an invitation to yield again, trust the hands at work, and believe that the Master Potter knows exactly what He’s doing—both within us and around us.

  • Repentance & Renewal

As we step into a new season, this message invites us back to the simple, grounding pursuit of God’s presence. Rooted in Psalm 27, we’re reminded that David’s deepest desire wasn’t outcomes or blessings, but to dwell with the Lord and behold His beauty—right here, right now. This teaching challenges us to step off paths shaped by noise, habit, or imitation and return to heart-level renewal through repentance, not as shame but as freedom. Anchored in Romans 12 and Titus 3, and inspired by the Welsh Revival, we’re invited to make room for the Holy Spirit to renew us from the inside out, restoring clarity, humility, and joy as we learn to seek God’s face together.

  • For ALL the People (Pt 2)

What happens when the good news of Jesus doesn’t stop at the manger? In Luke 2:8–20, we watch the shepherds encounter the presence of God—and then do the most natural thing they can’t help but do: they tell someone. This message traces that same movement we see all through Scripture—ordinary people meeting Jesus in places of fear, shame, or longing, and walking away changed. Not polished. Not perfect. Just honest and alive with joy.

This Advent teaching invites us to reflect on our own Jesus story. Where has he met us? What has he healed? And who might need to hear that story this Christmas season? We lean into the simple, powerful truth that God’s love moves from heaven to earth—and then through us to others. Not through pressure or performance, but through lives touched by grace and led by the Holy Spirit.

  • VB Kids Christmas Play

This weekend at Vineyard Boise, our Sunday gathering looked a little different—and a lot more joyful. 💛

Instead of a traditional sermon, our VB Kids filled the room with laughter, music, and truth through their Christmas play, “Dr. Newheart’s Christmas Cure.” What started as a playful story about the “Christmas Day Dumps” became a beautiful reminder—for kids and adults alike—that all the stuff, sparkle, and traditions of Christmas can’t quite fill our hearts on their own.

Through song, storytelling, and plenty of kid-powered charm, we were invited to remember what Christmas is really about: Jesus coming close, offering us something deeper than presents—a new heart. Watching our kids lead us there was a gift in itself.

Whether you were in the room cheering them on or you’re watching from home, we hope this brings a smile, stirs hope, and reminds you why this season matters.

Friendly heads up: you may notice a few small audio shifts along the way. We had to patch in a backup recording in a couple spots—but the joy, heart, and message are all very real.

  • Joy to You and Me

In Luke 2, the angels meet ordinary shepherds and announce a joy that doesn’t depend on perfect circumstances. This week we looked at how their simple response—“Let’s go”—shows us where real joy begins: in the presence of Jesus.

If you’re feeling stretched thin or running low on joy, this message invites us back to the One who meets us right where we are and anchors us in hope.

  • For ALL The People (Pt 1)

The Christmas story can feel so familiar that we forget how surprising it really was. This week we looked at Luke 2:8–20 and the moment God chose to announce Jesus’ birth—not to the influential or the religious insiders, but to a small group of shepherds working through the night.

By choosing the lowly, God was showing us the heart of His kingdom: good news really is for all people, especially those who feel unseen or unsure they belong. The peace announced that night wasn’t just calm circumstances, but the deep, healing shalom Jesus still offers today.

  • 5-7 Business Days

As we launch our new Christmas series “Holy Night,” we begin by stepping into the quiet, aching tension of waiting. This message looks at how God broke centuries of silence by speaking to two ordinary people—Mary and Joseph—and how their trust in His promises carried them through impossible circumstances. Their story invites us to examine our own seasons of waiting and to anchor ourselves in God’s proven faithfulness. As Advent begins, we remember not only Christ’s first coming, but we learn to hope forward—living with expectation, courage, and a faith shaped by God’s track record in Scripture, history, and our own lives.
