We are joining God in the renewal of all things! In this sermon we look a number of beautiful things God is doing in the life of our church, and look ahead to something new that’s on it’s way.

Scripture: Habakkuk 3:2

In Romans 28 God promises that the pieces eventually come together for the good of all His children, and for all of the created order. And in the following verses, He assures us, that all of that will happen because He is the One who makes all of that happen. He’s the one who brings this all about, who assures our destiny… from before the foundations of the earth, and for all of eternity… it’s by His hand.

Scripture: Romans 8:29-39 NLT

Romans 8 is like a much needed kiosk that tells us where we are, and where we are going.  Paul encourages us to look forward and to keep our eyes far enough ahead, trusting that God will make all things come together and work together for our good and for His glory … knowing that He will make all things new.

The Holy Spirit within all believers demands we put our sin to death, and he also assures of our security in God’s family as the beloved children of God. Here’s the thing: those realities are both true at once, and are in no way incompatible!

Paul said that what happens between your ears is the difference between spiritual death, and life and peace. Is it really that far-reaching?

Jesus asked many questions when he was on Earth. Often he answered questions with a question, or a parable and a question. In this message, we’ll wrestle with the most incisive question Jesus ever asked.

When our identity is found in God alone, we respond in true worship and discover our purpose in His Kingdom.

We can serve our broken world because Christ has given us a love that is greater than fear. This message gives examples of people that have stepped into that worldview, and begins to explore how we can do the same in our own day to day lives.

Make us your hands: generous and compassionate.  

Make us your feet: valiant and steady.

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 8:9

Jesus did not mince words … He wants us to be unified … Both for our sake and for the sake of the world. And so, that’s why this is part of our Vineyard prayer. We want to pray to be unified and “make every effort” to be unified. Lord, Unify us in heart, soul, and purpose  That the world might know your love.
