When the Israelites were being taken into exile, they hung up their harps, and refused to worship God.

Sunday was a special service where we heard from Lew, Caroline and Tara as they gave their testimonies.

Naaman was almost too cool to be healed. We need to think logically, and prayerfully about how ‘fitting in’ impacts us, and the people around us.

When we have conflict or stress in a relationship, we often avoid addressing that issue with the person. Instead, we tend to involve another person. Jesus gave us very different instructions.

Relationships can be tricky, and trusting our gut to help us navigate those troubles is generally a bad idea. Our default settings push us toward selfishness and consumerism, when the opposite is needed.

After years and years of their unfaithfulness, and his pleading for them to repent, the Lord shows how far he will go to bring his people back, and how eager he is to restore them in full.

Jesus knew what it was to be attacked, and he knew how much more it hurt when it was personal. The people he loved most failed fantastically to love him well in return. Each time he forgave (which is remarkable), but he didn’t stop there.
