John the Baptist has just been martyred. John's disciples were going through "Tough Stuff" at that moment. Image how you might have felt. How do you pray when you are going through "Tough Stuff?"

Jesus, God the Son came to earth and modeled for us a Life Of Prayer. Jesus also came to earth to reveal God The Father to whom we pray. Jesus told His disciples, "If you've seen me, you've seen the Father."

Today's message we learn that we should pray for the church. Not just about the physical property, per se, but about how Jesus builds His church, the primary instrument of the Kingdom of God.

The God of the Universe wants to talk to us, and He wants us to talk to Him. It’s something we call PRAYER. And it’s an amazing privilege God has given to all of us.

In this, the last sermon of the series Soul Anchors, we look at the promises that God gave us about His promises. His ultimate promise to us, is the promise of His presence.

The series Soul Anchors began with the ultimate promise of God…THE PROMISE OF HIS PRESENCE. We are going to revisit this promise with a view to us collectively: What it means to experience the presence of God as a worshiping Community.

Promises are meaningless unless they come from someone we trust. We have to ask ourselves: "Do we really trust God, does He love me and is really for Me?" The answer is a resounding YES!
